Safety, trust & environment

I always take the time to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable with me by taking things at their pace. Locked doors are always double-triple-checked to ensure no escapes and I generally always carry a spare leash if it's needed on dog walks when we're out and about. --------------- ✨SERVICES I CURRENTLY OFFER: ** DOG WALKS (30 min) visits include: dog walk (sniff walk or exercise-focus), pets and scratches, pictures, water replacement. ***** NOTE: During the summer months, when heat is above 80, I do not walk dogs on pavement or concrete. I will only walk dogs if there is immediately accessible grass (i.e., a greenbelt) or if the area is permanently shaded to ensure their paws are safe. If grass or shade is unavailable, I will supervise limited outside yard time for their relief and exercise while minding heat advisories. ** DROP-INS (30 min) visits include: Dog outdoor potty break or short walk, cat litter scooping, oral medication, play, pets and scratches, water and food if requested replacement. ** HOUSE SITTING, two options: -Option #1: I stay overnight in your home (15 hours; e.g. 6PM-9AM) and visit for at least 1.0 hr mid-day. -Option #2) I don't stay overnight, but I'll complete 3x extended visits (morning: 1.5 hrs, mid-day: 1.0 hr, evening: 1.5 hrs) --Both options include dinner and evening care routine, breakfast and morning care routine, 20-minute morning walk, all the love and belly/head rubs, cat litter scooping, oral medication, home security check, package and mail collection, water plants. [***** 24/7 in-home "constant care" (for animals with health issues or separation anxiety that cannot be left alone) is a premium service at a higher rate, limited availability - please let me know upfront if you're looking for 24/7 care)

Information Dawn B. would like to know about your pet

I meticulously follow all instructions, so the more details I have on your pet's specific needs, the better! **If we haven't worked together before, I require a free 20-minute meet & greet to ensure that your pet is comfortable with me and that I understand and can fulfill your expectations and their care requirements. Please note: if your dog reactive to strangers entering the home, I may request an initial supervised drop-in(s) to ensure I can safely enter the home to provide care. How does your pup interact with other dogs and people? I am comfortable with all dog breeds, however, if your dog is over 40 lbs I do ask that they be fully leash trained and non-reactive. I understand and am comfortable with different dog behaviors, but I am petite so larger reactive dogs are not a good fit. Please note: your booking is not finalized until we both confirm (which will occur after or during the meet & greet) and the booking is paid for. You can provide the key/entry instructions during this visit.

Pet care experience

Hello there, I'm Dawn, a lover of all animals - whether they have fur, feathers, or scales! I've been pet-sitting professionally since 2015 and would love to take care of your pet. 🐾Dog & cat first aid certified 🐾Licensed w/ Menifee city 🐾Background checked 🐾Insured w/ PCI I'm professional, reliable, and highly experienced in caring for nervous, shy, anxious, or reactive pets. I have three rescued dogs (+two rescued snakes, +one rescued crested gecko) and understand that some animals need space/may never trust people and to take things slow. (Please note: For safety and liability reasons, I do not work with dogs with any nipping tendencies or history of biting. I am, however, confident with reactive dogs who are in training and no bite history; I may request multiple meetings to ensure they become comfortable with me.) 🐢I'm also heavily experienced with small animal care, birds, and reptiles (e.g. bearded dragons, geckos, snakes, tortoises, turtles).🦎 When you trust your pet to my care, I happily update you with detailed report cards and plenty of pictures following our visit to reassure you they're doing great!

Dawn has such great attention to detail from the meet and greet and day of service! She took notes, made sure she full understood each of our pets quirks and needs and did an exceptional job! She sends amazing feedback and photos. My dog and cats loved her and felt comfortable with her right away. I will definitely be a returning customer! :)

By far the best experience we have had on Roger. Dawn is amazing! She went above and beyond while watching our pups. We have a high energy dog and she took the time to learn her and ensure they felt safe. 10/10 for sure! Thank you Dawn!
