Exceptional Experience, Every Time

I have experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have bottle fed, administered medication, groomed, and trained. I know doggy behavior and know how to give different care and attention to whatever suits each pup's needs. Whether your dog is the nervous type or the energetic type, I can actually guarantee that they will be comfortable, SAFE, and well taken care of here! I have a spayed female dog, named Lacey. Her temperament is calm, patient, and affectionate. Lacey is well socialized and gets excited to meet new people. She loves kids, especially if they are giving her pets and treats. Her signature trait is to grumble while being petted, I think it's her way of purring lol. Meatball is our new addition. We found him while walking the orchard, we believe someone dumped him there. At the moment he is intact so we are not allowing unspayed females. He is extremely goofy and loves other dogs and people. Donald and I both have experience with training and raising dogs. Feel free to ask us for tips as we are happy to share some knowledge we've learned over time. If they aren't potty trained that is okay, because we have tile flooring and we will help with teaching your pup to go outside! We also teach leash work and recall for each client that comes here! Sometimes we foster puppies from local animal shelters so we ask that your pet is up to date on shots before boarding. Our home is a loving home and we have A BUNCH of toys here for your pet. Squeaky toys, chew toys, balls, ropes, and even toys that really engages and stimulates them mentally! We also have plenty of running space for dogs to run around in the yard and if they are more of a couch potato that works too! There is a fenced almond orchard nearby where we take the dogs to walk everyday (sometimes twice a day depending on their energy level.) The walking path is 2 miles long! There is so much to sniff and any dog that comes back from that walk is garunteed to be worn out and sleepy! Be prepared for pre walk and post walk pictures! We also have an XL crate that is available for your dog to have their own space if desired. We leave the crate open during the day and close it at night. If they don't need it that's fine, they can sleep wherever they feel most comfortable. We do usually allow pets on the couch but if they aren't allowed to at home we try to enforce the same rules. For transparency: the price I set is $45 a night per dog. Rover takes 20% from me which means my take home is even less. The extra price increase you see is because of Rover and I have no control over it. So please consider that before asking for a lower price. If you read this far, thank you!

I’ve left my puppy with them several times now. She is so excited when we pull up to their house. I would trust them anytime with her care. I love that they take her for a walk and she comes home happy and tired.

Davisha was honestly a lifesaver. She made me feel so comfortable and kept me updated with pictures the whole time. I was really worried about my boy, but he was in the best hands. He had so much fun—he came back completely exhausted and even snoring 😂 I will 100% be booking with her again!!

They took amazing care of Vinny! From the meet and greet to pick up I was treated with kindness. The whole time I was gone I got pictures and videos of him. Also including any concerns that had come up. I would 100% book again.

The dog takers are really flexible and very understanding in taking care of a puppy. They even helped me with my booking because the app wasn't allowing me to book one day but instead the same day. They're the real deal for providing everything for dogs.

We needed last minute daycare. I appreciated them accommodating our request and answering our questions and concerns. I loved getting the daily updates and pictures. Our puppy was well taken care of and looked like she was Having fun on her walks and playing with her dogs. I would not hesitate to leave Hula with them again.

Schedule

I am currently at home FULL TIME. My prices are reflective of constant care sitting. Donald works for the Post Office as a mail carrier. He isn't always available during the day but he is happy to gives his share of cuddles for the pups after work.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a 6ft tall wooden fence in the backyard and a 4ft tall wooden fence in the front. In the backyard, we have chickens that free range. They are very used to Lacey and other dogs. Usually your dog will stay in the front but we do sometimes like to let your furbaby sniff and engage the birds (while on a leash.) We find that it's a good stimulator for some dogs, especially the herding breeds as well as make more well rounded, more friendly birds.

I have NO breed preference and will accept any and all types! I love all dogs and as long as their overall demeanor is friendly I will work them. Main questions that I always ask is how much and how often do you feed per day? If they have any allergies? Do you allow them on furniture? What training are you working on right now that I can help reinforce?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
