A true dog loving, home from home for your pups!
Having owned and worked with dogs my whole life we love meeting new dogs and seeing the pups come back again and again! For many years I volunteered with the retired greyhound trust fostering dogs to get them ready for their forever home. That experience has helped me to become happy with and appreciate all personalities of dog. Here your dog will be treated as one of the family and get lots of walks and cuddles, or space I’m led by you on your dog! Photos of your dogs day will be sent so you can relax and be sure your pet is safe and sound. With access to the garden all day, with the lickey hills and local parks on my doorstep for walks. Any medication or allergies will be carefully looked after. Specific feeding needs all taken care off. I know we can help your dog have a happy stay! Between myself and my partner who does shift work there is always someone home to supervise and care for your pet, and extra effort is put in when boarding so that your pet will have company, play, walks and plenty of fuss! Access to the garden is nearly all day (save trips to shops etc) Walks and food are given after finding out your dogs usual routine and their own bed to keep them as comfortable as if they were home. My garden is medium sized, grassy and fenced. So no escapes! Child safety gates on stairs for dogs that need them, I allow dogs on sofas, only if the owner allows it. Dogs have free roam of the house and access to the garden at all times.

Saffi had a wonderful time at David’s as usual! She always looks so happy and relaxed in the photos, a proper home away from home for her. Wouldn’t leave her with anyone else and would highly recommend.
Mille had a lovely break with David again this month, she stops with him 2-3 times per year when we are away. She is always eager to get out of the car when we arrive and is well looked after, she comes home happy, healthy and full of life. David always keeps us updated with pictures during her stay and news of how she has settled in and what she has been up to. Knowing Millie has a home away from home when we go on holiday really helps us to relax.
Initial contact was good, but on dropping Teddy to the house we had no communication to let us know how he was doing and no photos as promised we would get lots. When it was time for collection Dave wanted an ETA and to message 5 mins before getting there so Teddy was ready. There was no feedback on how he had got on. We had booked him again, but have cancelled as he has not responded to any messages for over a week.
Highly recommended. He reacted so quickly when my dog had a medical problem and got her to out of hours emergency vet overnight. Could well have saved her life. Would definitely trust him to do everything possible to look after your pet.
Willow had a lovely stay with Dave. She was very happy and we had the photos of her enjoying a cuddle with him. Despite the heatwave and her furry coat she came back in fine form - so thanks again to Dave for his care in looking after her.

Schedule
With Working remotely from home, and my partner doing part time shift work we are able to give bundles of time to our furry friends! I only have 2 dogs maximum at any time and always from the same family. This enables me to give full attention to each dog!

Safety, trust & environment
When boarding at my home I walk, feed, play and take care of each dog on a one to one basis being led by each owner on the needs of each individual dog. Photo updates sent daily to give peace of mind.
A typical day
Each dog is different so I take my lead from you on how much exercise your pet will need, for walks we have local parks and the lickey hills are a favourite with plenty of nice places to walk close by. Play with your pup is important as each dog is unique again I take my lead from you!
