Pet care experience
At an early age, I understood animal care to be a meaningful and important aspect of my life. Growing up in Texas, I often found great joy in caring for the animals around my grandparents farm (incidentally the roosters often found great joy in chasing me around said farm, which in retrospect was quite humorous). Of course, growing up with dogs and cats was also something I greatly cherished, as they all shaped my heart into something more loving, compassionate, and grateful. In my professional experience, I’ve co-managed a pet store, then went on to work in both general and emergency veterinary medicine.
