My family and I have raised dogs from puppies, which has taught us the ins and outs of training, nutrition, and unconditional love. We ensure your pup feels right at home. Our cozy, pet-friendly home features a secure fenced yard for safe playtime and plenty of space for relaxation. We believe in high-quality, tailored care—think daily walks, plenty of fresh water, and lots of affection. I respond quickly, offer free meet-and-greets, and provide photo updates to keep you connected. DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE ANY PIT BULL OR PIT MIXES. This was my first Rover booking and David made it so easy to feel comfortable leaving my dog with him for the weekend. From scheduling a meet and greet, to the responsive communication, everything was a breeze. My dog made herself at home and had so much fun making new friends, dog ones AND human ones 😊 l will definitely be a repeat customer!!
A last minute out of town invitation during July 4 worried me. Our pet sitter was out of town and the kennel was full. I decided to give Rover a try. David and Shelley were close, very friendly, had a dog friendly home. David gave our dog and chance to look around while we visited. So thankful they opened their home to Hutch for a long, noisy 4th weekend. They took good care to keep him safe and happy and sent a few photos during our trip! Thank you!
Penny was a happy dog when we picked her up from Shelly and David’s home! She had a nice pack of dogs to socialize with, and David and Shelly were very responsive to messages. They even sent a cute 4th of July photo!
Toby appeared to have a great time with you and his new friends. Thank you for the pictures and updates during his stay there. He came home happy and tired out from playing. We would highly recommend you to others looking for a safe home away from home for their fur babies. Thank you!

Safety, trust & environment
Our home has a fenced-in back yard (six foot privacy fence). We have pets of our own (dog and cat) so our home and lifestyle are oriented towards a safe and happy pet environment. We can lock the gates to our fenced in back yard to ensure no one accidentally opens them and unintentionally lets a pupper out. We have crates setup in our house if needed. We have dedicated feeding area with fresh circulating water always available. We live with our pets and allow them to be with us wherever we are in the house. We use Ehler’s veterinary and also can utilize the emergency veterinary clinic for off hour emergencies. DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE ANY PIT BULL OR PIT MIXES. We love all dogs but please understand our position.
Pets
A typical day
Dogs are free to spend time with us throughout our home. They can spend time in the fenced in back yard chasing rabbits and squirrels or just hanging out. We can take them for a walk through our neighborhood to burn off some energy and get some exercise. We typically do not leave our dogs outside other than to potty and play. Otherwise the dogs will be inside the house with us.
