Welcome! I’m David, a lifelong dog lover offering personalized care in Lincoln, NE. My family and I have raised dogs from puppies, which has taught us the ins and outs of training, nutrition, and unconditional love. We ensure your pup feels right at home. Our cozy, pet-friendly home features a secure fenced yard for safe playtime and plenty of space for relaxation. We believe in high-quality, tailored care—think daily walks, plenty of fresh water, and lots of affection. I respond quickly, offer free meet-and-greets, and provide photo updates to keep you connected. DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE ANY PIT BULL OR PIT MIXES. David and Shelly took care of our chocolate lab while we were away for a week. We really didn't want to have to board her in a traditional kennel and were hoping for something more home-like and comfortable for her. When we discovered David and Shelly on Rover it was a perfect fit! She got to play tons of fetch (her favorite!), played with the other puppy friends in their care and got lots of love. David and Shelly were super easy to communicate and coordinate with and sent lots of daily updates and photos. Would highly recommend them and we'll definitely be booking again in the future!
David and Shelly were a great help when we were passing through Lincoln and needed dogcare for a few hours. I have a GSP and Rhodesian Ridgeback, so not small or quiet dogs :). They brought them into their home without question and had yard for them to stretch and play for a few hours with their pup. Highly recommend!

This was my first Rover booking and David made it so easy to feel comfortable leaving my dog with him for the weekend. From scheduling a meet and greet, to the responsive communication, everything was a breeze. My dog made herself at home and had so much fun making new friends, dog ones AND human ones 😊 l will definitely be a repeat customer!!

Safety, trust & environment
Our home has a fenced-in back yard (six foot privacy fence). We have pets of our own (dog and cat) so our home and lifestyle are oriented towards a safe and happy pet environment. We can lock the gates to our fenced in back yard to ensure no one accidentally opens them and unintentionally lets a pupper out. We have crates setup in our house if needed. We have dedicated feeding area with fresh circulating water always available. We live with our pets and allow them to be with us wherever we are in the house. We use Ehler’s veterinary and also can utilize the emergency veterinary clinic for off hour emergencies. DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE ANY PIT BULL OR PIT MIXES. We love all dogs but please understand our position.
Pets
A typical day
Dogs are free to spend time with us throughout our home. They can spend time in the fenced in back yard chasing rabbits and squirrels or just hanging out. We can take them for a walk through our neighborhood to burn off some energy and get some exercise. We typically do not leave our dogs outside other than to potty and play. Otherwise the dogs will be inside the house with us.
