Growing up, my family was big into Labrador Retrievers and similar. Thus far, I've opted to not own pets in my adulthood for lifestyle flexibility. But I never turn down an opportunity to dote on or watch my family and friend's furry ones. Most of my experience is with dogs (anything from a toy poodle to pit bulls) but there's been the occasional feline. And I've tended to quite the spectrum of traits: young to old, docile to headstrong, easy going to special needs (e.g. anxiety, diet restrictions, oral medication).

Will acquiesce any reasonable accommodations needed for both you and your pet(s) to feel at ease and safe. Communication is key too. Both in terms of setting care expectations upfront as well as keeping you aware of any material events.

My dog loves David days!!!
My dog gets a serious workout when David comes to check on him and he loves it! I really appreciate David being so friendly, active and dependable!
We couldn’t ask for a better sitter. David is genuinely great with animals and treats them like his own. We’ve trusted him to house sit multiple times while we’ve been out of town, and he’s always on top of walks, feeding, and keeping us updated with photos. Highly recommend!
Trusting someone new to watch your pet can be difficult, but David has been a wonderful caretaker with excellent communication absolving all fears. When David watches my dog, who can be high maintenance, I can relax fully and not worry about a thing. My dog loves spending time with David and I love knowing that he’s well taken care of and loved.
David was super awesome from start to finish regarding dog walking skills for helping reinforce not pulling on the leash. We are definitely looking forward to continuing to book with him on a consistent basis!
Our 5 pound senior dog is on four medications, has a delicate stomach and thrives on a consistent routine so we’re very selective about who we trust to look after her. Thanks to David, we’re able to travel again with complete peace of mind. Kyuu absolutely lights up every time she sees him, which tells me everything I need to know. She may be tiny and getting older, but she has a huge personality and always thinks she’s bigger than she is. David strikes the perfect balance of letting her enjoy her little adventures while keeping her safe, comfortable and on track with her tight schedule. It’s obvious that David genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. He pays attention to the little details, is incredibly patient and treats her like she’s his own. I never have to worry when she’s with him and that kind of trust is had won. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Schedule
I've recently stepped away from the corporate workforce in order to pursue more quality time with family, friends, and hopefully four-legged creatures! So if I'm not traveling, my daily availability is generally wide open.
