Being a cat dad is my identity 😻
I grew up in a house of 2 cats, and a dog. Because my own 2 cats mean so much to me, I understand how difficult it is to leave pets at home. That’s where I come in! Passion: I have genuine passion for animals, so when I come for a visit, I’ll make sure your cat or dog gets the attention, love and care they deserve. Scared/Shy pets: I deeply respect animal boundaries, and I will leave space to let your pet come to me when they’re ready. - Special needs: Absolutely no problem. One of my cats has bladder issues, so I am highly experienced in managing strict, separate, and specialized feeding schedules. PLAYTIME: It is vital to get the zoomies out, especially when pets spend long hours alone. Whether your pet loves fetch or feather wands, I will make sure they get plenty of exercise and fun. - Grooming: I have a cat who is obsessed with brushing. My partner can’t even brush her hair without our girl running into the room for a turn. If your pet loves brushes, then brushing they will receive! Beyond these services, I am incredibly flexible and happy to adapt to whatever unique routine your pet requires. My ultimate goal is to keep them safe, happy, and loved while you are away.

When I come for visits, I’m entering you pet’s space. I always take the steps to make sure your pet is comfortable, whether that is constant love and pets, or giving space and respecting boundaries.

I feel so lucky that we were able to book David to look after our two cats, Pico and Minnow! We left town at the last minute and our usual cat sitters weren't available. David went above and beyond to ensure that he understood everything our cats might need while we were away. He asked questions we didn't even think of to make sure that he understood their dietary restrictions properly. He was extremely communicative, friendly, and always very responsive, sending us photos and updates while we were away. Our cats are pretty shy but he sent us photos showing them spending time with him. They were even asking for belly rubs. Our house was kept spotless and our cats were super happy when we came home. We will definitely book him next time we go away. We're both so happy we booked him through Rover!
David is a true animal lover and a very responsible pet parent and pet sitter! He is a longtime cat owner and his cats absolutely adore him which is a true testament to his caring and loving nature. He is very attentive, gentle and sensitive to the needs of animals making him a great choice to look after your fur babies!
David took lovely care of my two feline fur babies gravy and Bean Machine. Gravy is very old and needs help off the couch David was super responsible and attentive with my old fart. Bean Machine is a stinkier fart and is troublesome. He tends to pee where he's not supposed to when he feels he's not getting enough attention so I was nervous to leave him alone, but when I came home I found no pee, meaning David gave him lots of love and appeased the little beast. My house and pets stayed clean and safe Davids all right in my books.
