Hi, my name is Gavin Schroen! I’m a 20-year-old sophomore Film Student at SCAD and a proud dog owner. I’ve cared for my dog, Calvin, for 14 years—from his playful puppy days to his senior years now—so I have hands-on experience with every stage of a dog’s life. That means I know how to handle high-energy pets who need lots of attention and exercise, as well as senior dogs who need extra patience, comfort, and care. What sets me apart is the level of dedication and understanding I bring to pet care. I know that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I make sure to give them the same love and attention that I give to Calvin. Whether it’s long walks, cuddle time, or just making sure they feel safe and comfortable, I’m committed to keeping pets happy and cared for while their owners are away.

He was incredibly attentive and so caring towards my dog! He made sure Henry was fed and had enough potty breaks throughout the day. Also updates you frequently!
Gavin (David goes by his middle name Gavin) is a responsible and friendly caregiver to pets. He took care of my dog Calvin and I never have to worry if my small dog is getting enough attention and love. Gavin is also an excellent communicator and trustworthy on all levels. Gavin has taken care of my two dachshunds multiple times and he has always been very respectful and thoughtful of my dogs needs. He is very conscious about my house and the belongings in it. I would recommend Gavin as a great sitter.
I am good friends with David/Gavin and when I’m at his house I’ve witnessed him and his dog he is always thinking about Calvin making sure once he gets up he’s walked, played with, fed, and groomed having a loving relationship with his dog. He’s also stayed a few nights at my home and the love and compassion he shows for my 3 dogs is something different. I would fully trust Gavin with any pet needs and concerns!
Gavin watched my black lab Pax for a week while I was returning home for a week, and he did a great job! Walked her consistently, and as far as I can tell responded to all her needs. She was very happy when I got back, but she seemed pretty tired from throwing the ball.
A very good with handling pets and making sure they are satisfied, he is very reliable and will always available and is a great option for your pet.

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. Living on my own allows me to dedicate time and attention to pets without major conflicts, making me reliable and adaptable to your needs.
