My doodle is looking for a friend!
I've had dogs for all my adult life, plus we always had dogs and cats growing up. My first dog crossed over last fall, so I have experience with old dog care. My current dog is a very friendly 3 year old doodle who is always ready to make a new friend.

David took good care of JJ. We are happy and grateful and can recommend him.
David was very nice and no problems with him. I was, however, very concerned about the cleanliness, or lack thereof, of his home. I was in a tough situation as I had to leave my dog Murphy there because I was having a procedure at the hospital and didn’t have other options. The areas that I saw looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. I’m not referring to clutter, I’m referring to dust bunnies, dirt, filth, and animal hair everywhere. I’m really surprised as no one else has mentioned this in their reviews. I can’t imagine anyone being ok with this. Murphy came home and drank so much water, as if he hadn’t had access to any while he was there. I don’t know if there was or wasn’t. Murphy’s crate, bed, toys, blankets were so full of other animal’s hair, every single item had to be washed. And Murphy threw up that night, after ingesting things from David’s floors. I’m very uncomfortable reporting these conditions, however, I don’t feel like Murphy was in a safe environment. And somebody needs to say something.
David took great care of my boy. He kept him active and sent great updates throughout the stay!

My dog was very happy and well behaved when she came home. I could tell David and his dog did a great job taking care of her. David was responsible and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!
David was great! He was open to meeting ahead of booking to make sure our pets’ personalities meshed. Throughout the stay he was very communicative and sent updates, and flexible around drop off and pickup. I’d definitely book again! 👏

Schedule
I'm currently going back to school for a career change and taking online classes, so I'll be at home during the day. I take my dog on several walks a day and so your dog will gets lots of exercise and attention, from both me and my doodle!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced backyard along with one very friendly 3 year old dog and one older cat (who can hide in the basement when over stimulated). I'm half a block from a dog friendly park and we take lots of neighborhood walks during the day.
Pets
A typical day
Besides a backyard, we'll go on several walks in the neighborhood each day, plus walks in my local forested park. Plus, there will be lots of time to hang out with my dog!
