I'd be looking for after-work walks and visits to start with. Possible mid-days depending on location. I'm used to on-leash high energy dogs and long trail walks. I normally let them choose the path so they get to enjoy the freedom of choice. And I ALWAYS pick up the poop! As for cats, I just love them so much.

Safety, trust & environment
I an experienced with positivity training, so I care deeply about being a good person for your dog and cat. I will never demand, reprimand, or punish the animal. They are another living creature that deserves a voice! This is their time, their walk, and I make sure I am paying attention to them, and the surroundings. I will not be offering in-my-home-sitting, but if needed, I can possibly do pet and house sitting. I'm mostly looking for walking. I have experience house sitting as well, and would treat your home as I would hope someone watching mine would!
Information David R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know known interactions and behavior with other dogs, and animals (wildlife), along with known responses to things like cars, bikers, other hikers, loud sounds, etc. This will help me prepare my walk, and the world around us.
A typical day
I believe that dogs operate not only by exercise, but also mental stimulation. Sniffing and exploring is needed in the daily life of a dog. Letting them explore smells, pee on things (ie: leave messages), and even just watch a squirrel or deer in the distance is just as important as walking. Time constraints and scheduling will of course change how much walking we do, but I will get the most in the time we have together. I will look for local parks or paths, so there isn't a ton of time in the car. I am open to paved paths, and single-track mountain hikes, and everything between.

I'm the go to for loving pet care
Pet care experience
While I'll be new to Rover, i have the utmost care, and love for animals. I make sure I can read their body language to see what they are thinking, since they can't talk. I've been my friends' go-to person for pet sitting and fostering. I'm currently away from my boy during a move, and need some time with pups and kitties!

Reviews

David is dependable, kind, and clearly loves what he does. It’s a joy knowing Buddy is happy, exercised, and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Fabulous, awesome! Norman loved him!

David, thank you so much for what you do for Norman. He comes back so happy and tired!!
David loves animals. He adores all dogs and cats, loves to cuddle with them and take walks. He gives them all the attention, love, and exercise they want and will cater to their needs.
