As a freelance writer, I am working fully from home and can easily set my own hours to suit any dog-caring duties. We have just moved in to a new place so not yet in a position to get our own dog but, being surrounded by green space with lots of options for walks, I'm very motivated to look after others and get exploring.

My main priority will always be to look after your pet in the safest way possible to ensure its wellbeing. We have a secure fenced garden in which to play and I will always keep dog safe and follow the owners' instructions to the letter, from dietary requirements to walking protocols and routes. I value building trust with the dog and its owner equally and will take the time to make sure everyone is comfortable.

A typical day
We are surrounded by green space I've yet to explore so will keep dogs very busy exploring new sites and smells in the area. Happy to play any games inside too and keep them mentally active and ready to chill out when they need.

Pet care experience
Recently moved from a Rover household with 3+ years of experience caring for the widest range of dogs, and previously growing up with (big) family dogs, I'm happy to say I've always had them in my life. I'm comfortable with dogs of any size (my favourites have ranged from a brussels griffon called Grumpy to our 48kg black Labrador Leon) and, importantly, can win them over quickly. I also understand the importance of trusting the person providing care for your animal when you aren't there, and will happily meet the needs of any dog I'm looking after (any particular games, schedules, walking routes or just chill time). Happy to answer any questions so just drop me a message.
