David Poat has been a friend of mine almost my entire life. Even though we are not related, I consider him my brother and would trust him with my life. Growing up, we both had family dogs. Over the years, not only did David take care of his family dog Winnie, but was a great friend to my family dog Sandy. His dog care qualities include: reliable, patient, consistent, and loving. Meeting his personal dog, Lou, you can see all these attributes shine through her. She is an absolute delight to have around and when I got my own puppy this past year, I could not wait to socialize him with Lou. I would recommend David to anyone needing a dog sitter or even just a canine playdate, especially to new puppies needing some socialization or any dog wanting to play (she is even great with cats!).
I have known David for years and can 100% attest to his love for animals. In addition to witnessing how well he cares for his own pup, I have trusted him to care for my geriatric dachshund, rescue bully, and high energy Belgian Malinois. He has always done an exceptional job and proven to be a responsible pet sitter. 10/10 recommend!
We had an excellent experience with David! He did a wonderful job taking care of our pets, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I have a cat and a senior dog, and David did a great job following their feeding schedules and giving my dog medication. He cares about animals, and we felt completely at ease knowing our pets were in such capable hands. We’ll definitely be reaching out to him again in the future!
David has been doggy-sitting for me for several years and could not recommend him enough. David always sends me updates and has always made sure my dogs get the best care. Due to my dogs being geriatric, they require special food, medicine, and environmental care. Finding someone who could handle the special care they required was tough but David took on the task with ease. I continue to choose David as my sitter as he has been nothing but amazing!
I highly recommend David as a pet caregiver. He was very helpful with taking care of my 6 month old puppy for a few weeks when I went out of town for work and was very helpful and attentive. He also had looked over an older dog of mine years ago for a few days and did a great job then. David pays attention to detail, adheres to all requests made by the pet owner, and most importantly always puts your pet first. He treats your pet as if it’s his own and I would highly recommend him. Will be using him again myself.

David makes sure Lou gets plenty of exercise, attention, and affection every day, and it’s clear how much they prioritize their dog’s happiness and well-being. One moment that really shows David’s commitment to animals was when a friend needed to find a new home for a dachshund. David already had the perfect home lined up but was fully prepared to take in the dachshund themselves if it didn’t work out. That level of dedication and care is a testament to their reliability and love for dogs. Anyone who trusts their dog with David can rest assured that their furry family member will be treated like one of their own.

As a student currently training to become a pilot, my schedule is somewhat flexible, which allows me to comfortably fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I can easily accommodate drop-ins and other pet care needs around my classes and flight training. Whether it's playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I’ll ensure your pets get the attention they deserve. With my adaptable hours, I’m confident I can provide the care and affection your furry friend needs while you're away!

When I watch your pets, I make sure they have the time of their lives! Whether it's an exciting game of fetch, a fun round of tug-of-war, or some gentle play, I’ll tailor the activities to your pet’s preferences. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks, exploring the outdoors, or just giving them plenty of attention and affection to keep their tails wagging.
