Pet care experience
All dogs cared for as if they where my own.
Nothing gives me greater joy than taking care of animals. I have taken care of dogs for the best part of my life with over 25 years of experience. I am currently studying towards a level 3 diploma in canine welfare & behaviour. Looking after dogs is my passion and I am at my happiest around them, wether that be with our own family pet, a six month cockapoo called Sunny or your four legged friends. I currently offer walks and drop ins and all my walks are 1:1 with your dog or dogs so I can give them my undivided attention. I want you and your fur babies to feel as comfortable as possible so I offer a meet & greet if you feel you would like that in order for me to get to know your pet and any particular needs they may have followed by a free introductory short walk to give your dog or dogs the chance to get to know me. Or if you know your dog is comfortable around new people and you'd like me to just get straight to taking your pet out that's absolutely fine too, I'm happy to just have a conversation on here to get to know your pets needs and cover some basic information such as is your dog reactive, anxious, do they have any triggers etc and most importantly are they allowed a treat whilst out and about! I am fully insured.

Safety, trust & environment
I am fully insured. We do have two fenced gardens, but presently I am not boarding as we have a six month old puppy that is still settling in so I am only currently offering drop ins and walks. It's important to reiterate that i do not take my dog along on walks with your pets, they will have my full attention. I have experience with both large and small dogs and I currently regularly walk a variety of different breeds. I have looked after many anxious dogs and I'm pleased to say I have never not won any of them round and it's really rewarding to earn their trust and eventually see them eagerly waiting for me to go out on an adventure. I will only ever let your dogs of the lead with your permission and if that's something you would like me to do, I generally wait until we have been on a couple of walks and know each other a bit better. I have worked with dogs that are overweight for various different reasons and have provided lots of stimulation and exercise to help them back to a healthier weight range. I have worked with dogs providing multiple drop ins and walks per day when their owners have been on holiday and I've also administered oral medication when needed. I will always follow the owners lead and I am always open to answering any questions no matter what they are as I understand that trusting someone with your pet is not always easy.

David is superb. Attentive, kind, clearly delights in caring for Peggy and came early and well prepared. So very happy to have found him.
Peggy clearly enjoyed her walk with David. He was easy to book with and arrived early having texted twice with info. Seems a natural with dogs, definitely recommend and will be booking in with Dave again soon.
David was absolutely great! Provided great and clear communication prior to the walk. David arrived early and even had Taeko out longer than planned. Couldn’t be happier with the service provided by David!
Dave has completed all the training needed to become a dog sitter, he will send you regular video updates if you choose to go away for a few days/weeks and keep you fully up-to-date so your mind is at rest and you can enjoy your holiday. Highly recommend Dave to look after your pouch knowing they will be well looked after when your away and be treated like part of the family.
David has wked my dog for a few month's now and my dog loves him, he us usually wary of men but took tondave straight away, if weather conditions are not safe then dave sits in house with him for a while and keeps him company, I get updates and photos of how he is, my dog is always happy to be with dave and sometimes if I get home before dave has left my dog cries not wanting him to go

Schedule
I work from home and my diary is determined by myself so I am available most days and at short notice if needed as I can change my schedule to suit you.

- I would need to know if your dog is reactive with other dogs or people and if they have any triggers. Please let me know if your dog is on any medication or has any illness or allergies also. Is your dog allowed dog treats and is there any type I should avoid.
