Kiwi - Dogwalker @ your service

I’m a professional dog walker with over 8.5 years’ experience, offering weekday daycare and home boarding services — essentially a small, home-based dog crèche. I also provide solo walks for local clients in the West Hill, Dartford area, ensuring each dog receives individual attention tailored to their needs. I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and 5-star council licensed, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. My priority is always your dog’s happiness, safety, and wellbeing. We recently relocated from Battersea (SW11) to our own home in Dartford, which has a fully fenced, secure garden — ideal for daycare and boarding. I have a regular, trusted group of clients who use my daycare and boarding services year-round. Animal welfare is very important to us. We actively foster dachshunds for a UK charity and currently own a 9-year-old neutered German Shepherd rescue. I grew up in New Zealand with dogs, including our family Labrador, Benji, so caring for dogs has always been a part of my life. I’m a 57-year-old married man who spent over 30 years working as a professional chef — and I can honestly say that caring for dogs is far more fulfilling than long hours in a hot kitchen! As Kiwis, we love the great outdoors, so this career has been a natural and rewarding choice. If you have any enquiries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’m always happy to help and welcome meet & greets to ensure the right fit for you and your dog.

David looked after our dog Pepper for three nights at short notice. He was friendly and very professional. Most importantly Pepper adored him from the initial get to know you meeting. She had a great time with plenty of exercise and loved meeting the other dogs that David usual looks after during the day. David also provided us with regular updates and photos of Pepper. We will definitely use David again.

David helped us out at the last minute. Friendly, reliable and extra efficient. He collects and delivers, incredibly helpful if you're busy. Your dog will also get proper exercise. Recommended.

Absolutely recommend David! His love for dogs is obvious and the dogs love him back!! He took great care of our dog, Oliver, while we were away and sent many updates and pictures :) Oliver seemed to have a great time at David's house, and we would definitely trust him to watch Oliver for long trips. David clearly treats each dog as part of his family. He is also flexible with drop off/pick up which is great.

A typical day

A typical day for me is, clients dogs being droped off (we dont have a vechile )between 7:30 - 9am, they then socialise/play supervised in garden till lunchtime, where they get a walk in local park for an hour to 90 min. They then relax at home, have a siesta before collection late afternoon (4-6pm) when clients collects. I try to make it a fun filled day where possible.

Ideally if the dog is boarding or daycare, ideally i'd like them nutured unless under a year old, and a Meet and Greet in a local park before taking them on and overnight trial for dogs boarding. I do offer solo walks for locals.
