Dog Days of Pure Joy
Hello! Looking for boarding for your precious best friend? Well, you’ve come to the right place! My family and I have cared for our Labrador Retriever (Copper) for the last 5 years. I've also had experience caring for my last dog, a Golden Retriever, I had in my early 20s. We have also sat for other friends’ dogs occasionally for the past couple years. I am a recent retiree with a very flexible schedule and am looking to offer dog boarding and daycare to those owners who want their dog(s) to be around a loving family, have excellent care and hopefully develop a rewarding bond with our dog Copper. My wife works from home as well and our 14 y/o daughter is another wonderful caregiver as well. Our dog Copper is a 5-year-old fox-red lab who is neutered, calm, well behaved, and looking for friends to hang out with. He enjoys long walks at the many parks near our house, retrieving frisbees, and playing tug-of-war. Your dog will have fun environment, and attention during every minute of their stay with us. Your dog will also get plenty of exercise walking with Copper and I in the multiple parks by our house. Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood and we have a regular sized fenced in back yard. At night, if boarding, your dog can sleep in our room and/or find a comfortable resting space in our house. We look forward to meeting other dog lovers and will do everything to make sure your dog feels safe, is pampered and loved!

David is a phenomenal dog sitter. He goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs get along and treats your pet as his own. He sends multiple updates each day and also takes the dogs on multiple walks each day. We feel fortunate that we found him and look forward to using him again.
David took great care of Lexie! She went on lots of walks, loved hanging out with David's dog Copper, and she also received lots of attention. The best part is knowing we didn't have to worry about the care Lexie would get. Highly recommend!
Our dog was so well-cared for! He was clearly happy and relaxed, and enjoyed his two walks each day. We’ll definitely ask David to care for Ike again.

David was very great for our golden retriever, Boba! He treated him like family, took him on plenty of walks daily, and provided daily messages and photos/videos updates! David also provided observations about Boba's behavior in case anything was unusual and was quick to respond. Boba seemed to have fun and would like to visit David and his new friend Copper again!
David and his wife took great care of our dog. They took our dog for a walk at least twice a day and sent us pictures of her on the walks and snuggled up on their couch. David provided daily updates on how things were going and I was happy that he was home during the day to watch over my dog.

Schedule
I am a retired veteran and have a very flexible schedule to let your dog in and out throughout the day. I'm available 24/7. Along with lots of exercise, your pet will be comfortable inside or outside.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a Labrador retriever, Copper, who is treated and always acts like a member of the family. He is so fun to be with!! My normal routine is to give Copper two long walks a day, in the morning and night. When not exercising or playing in the house, he usually plops down and sleeps near me in whatever I’m doing in the house. He’s allowed on furniture, sleeps at the foot of our bed and or finds a couch during the night. Your dog will be provided the same routine and treatment.
Pets
A typical day
Your dog will be active, play games, use their noses a lot and enjoy lots of attention. I walk Copper and guests at least one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening at various parks nearby. Your dog will definitely be ready for a good nights sleep when they wind down at the end of the day.
