Mallory and I are big time dog people! We have a 4 year old golden doodle who is very friendly, gentle and loves to play. We both grew up with dogs in our households and thus have a combined 20+ years of caring for dogs/pets. We will care for your pet like it is our own.

David and Mallory (and their sweet pup Millie!) were absolutely wonderful with Koda. From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in good hands. They kept us updated with the cutest photos and made sure she had a fun, cozy weekend away from us. Koda came home happy, tired, and clearly loved her little getaway with them. Mallory and Dave and Millie were great. My puppy had been spayed a few weeks earlier and they were comfortable having her for the night. I love the photos and updates they provided. We will book with them again in the future.
David and Mallory took wonderful care of our dog Snickers! He got lots of long walks with their dog Millie, cuddles, and attention. They sent us daily emails and videos of the fun that they were having together. They went above and beyond to ensure that Snickers was well cared for. Schedule
I work from home 4 days a week so I will be home with your pet throughout the day. We take our dog Millie for a walk every morning and then evenings are typically for playtime (our go to is fetch at the nearby park) or another walk for some extra exercise as well. On weekends, we love to go on some extended walks and hikes either through the nearby trails, into the conservation area, or finding a new adventure with all the hikes around Dundas!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard for outside play and potty breaks. We allow our dog to roam around the house and do not use a crate. However, we did crate train our dog as a pup and we understand the importance of using a crate if that is what your pet needs. We also have the ability to puppy-proof our living space to make sure your dog doesn’t get into anything they shouldn’t! We live a 30 second walk from parks and forest trails, where we like to take our dog for walks and for playtime.

A typical day
A trip to a nearby park with a favourite ball is our go to! On weekends or days where we want some extra fresh air, we love to go for long walks and hikes either through forest trails minutes away from our house, or in the Dundas area. There are also lots of dogs in the neighbourhood so there is a good chance your dog will meet other dogs at the park.
