Pet care is becoming a regular part of my weekly routine beginning May 18th. I’m structuring my schedule around dog walks, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and kitty care, primarily in East Sacramento, McKinley Village, and River Park. I intentionally keep my service area focused so I can provide reliable, consistent care and maintain flexibility for my clients’ needs.

About David M.
Safety, trust & environment
I focus on creating a calm, safe, and consistent environment for pets, whether I’m caring for them in their home or mine. I follow each pet’s normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and quiet companionship. For drop-in visits and walks, I make sure pets get exercise, attention, fresh water, and plenty of reassurance while their owners are away. For overnight or in-home care, I provide a structured morning and evening routine along with regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, from energetic dogs to shy or independent cats, and I always approach their care with patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection.

Information David M. would like to know about your pet
Before we begin services, it’s very helpful for me to know about your pet’s normal routines, personality, energy level, medical needs, and any behavioral quirks or anxieties. I also like to know about feeding schedules, leash habits, favorite activities, vet information, medications, and how they typically do when left alone. For cats, it’s especially helpful to know whether they are social, shy, indoor-only, or have any special litter box preferences. The more I understand about your pets ahead of time, the more comfortable, safe, and stress-free I can make their care experience while you’re away.
A typical day
I enjoy tailoring activities to each pet’s personality, energy level, and comfort. For dogs, that can include neighborhood walks, playtime, enrichment games, fetch, tug toys, sniff walks, and plenty of positive attention and companionship. For senior dogs, I focus more on gentle strolls, calm interaction, and keeping routines comfortable and low-stress. For cats, I enjoy interactive play, wand toys, brushing (if they enjoy it), cozy companionship, and of course plenty of kitty lovin’ on their terms. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and helping them feel safe, engaged, and cared for while their humans are away.

Reviews
David M has taken wonderfully good care of our last three dogs — two Poodle Mixes and our current dog, a Golden Doodle. He loves dogs and they very quickly learn to love him back! David has kept our dogs at his lovely home in Sacramento. Spacious, clean and safely fenced to allow dogs to come and go from the spacious backyard to the air conditioned interior, David M’s home is beautifully suited for dog care. We trust no one to care for our current dog except David M and we highly encourage you to see just how special David M’s care is. Give him a try and we’re certain your dog will be set for the rest of its life…
