As a person who has spent most of my life with all kinds of animals, I am a big advocate for their emotional well-being. I would love to be that familiar face that soothes your dogs anxiety, someone s/he looks forward to seeing, not just for exercise and a bathroom break, but for human companionship. And truth be told, I'm in it for the exercise and four-legged companionship myself. After having pets all my life, I find myself without furry friends at the moment. I've parented three dogs, one cat, and five guinea pigs, and have sat with or boarded both dogs and cats for friends throughout my adult life, starting in college. Nothing is more important to me than their welfare and I can be trusted to keep them safe and happy. Each animal is an individual with his or her own biases, but I find that, in general, animals tend to gravitate towards and trust me. But I'm happy to have a meet and greet to see if that is indeed the case and put us all at ease. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. David did a fantastic job taking care of our two young potties. One of them has very high energy and needs a lot of engagement and David handled her beautifully. He kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind, and he also took great care of our house while we were away. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pups and a spotless home - we would not hesitate to book him again and highly recommend him.
David’s care for Wags was exceptional. Wags had an infection post surgery making the stay more complex but David was so conscientious and thoughtful in paying attention to both the dogs’ physical and emotional needs. He gave me regular updates with pictures and videos and it was clear how attentive and loving he was to Wags. Wags was so content and I was so relaxed on the trip knowing he was being so well cared for. He really went above and beyond my expectations especially in terms of being so careful with attending to Wags’ injury and keeping him safe while still providing him with the mental stimulation he needed. I am so grateful to David!
Dave is wonderful with Wags. Wags had a wonderful walk with Dave and looks forward to him babysitting in December. He’s in tune with what Wags needs !
