“If there are no dogs in heaven, them when I die, I want to go where they went.” I have over 15 years of experience raising, training, and caring for dogs, and I’ve spent the past several years running a successful dog-sitting business in New York City. I’ve cared for well over 100 dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, many of whom have become long-term repeat clients. I’ve cared for dogs of alls shapes and sizes, from Hounds, Goldens, Labs, Doodles, Shepherds, Great Pyrenees, Great Danes, and Bernese Mountain Dogs to Mini Schnauzers, puppies, senior dogs, rescues, and mixed breeds. I’m also comfortable administering medication and caring for dogs with anxiety, special needs, or particular routines. One especially rewarding experience came from spending a year in Rajasthan, India, where I slowly earned the trust of the stray dogs living around my home. I eventually began feeding and bathing them, treating parasites, and helping house-train them. It taught me a great deal about patience, reading a dog’s behavior, and earning their trust. I love dogs, I form healthy bonds quickly with them, I know how to care for them, and I appreciate both the privilege and the responsibility of caring for a member of your family.

Schedule
I work from home full-time and am in charge of my own schedule, so I can be very flexible and give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a quiet apartment in Downtown Brooklyn with easy access to parks and good walking routes. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I keep plenty of blankets, beds, and toys around so they can settle in and feel at home.
A typical day
I live near several parks, dog parks, waterfront walks, and car-free areas, so there are plenty of places for us to get out, walk, and play. I also love playing with dogs indoors, whether that’s fetch, hide-and-seek, tug of war, or just hanging out together. I generally follow your dog’s normal routine and adjust to their personality and energy level. I also send regular photos and updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away.
