Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m an early riser and make time every day for walks, play, and check-ins. My work schedule is flexible, allowing me to plan visits around each pet’s needs—whether it’s morning exercise, midday drop-ins, or evening companionship. Caring for animals is a relaxing and rewarding part of my week.

Information David L. would like to know about your pet
Activities are tailored to each pet’s personality and energy level. This can include walks, fetch, tug toys, puzzle toys, basic reinforcement of training commands, and lots of affection and cuddle time. For more active pets, I incorporate longer walks or play sessions; for calmer or senior pets, I focus on gentle engagement and companionship.
A typical day
A typical day includes morning potty breaks or walks, feeding according to your pet’s routine, and plenty of playtime and attention throughout the day. I monitor behavior and energy levels, provide midday exercise or enrichment, and wind down in the evening with another walk and calm time so pets feel comfortable and relaxed.

Doctor-Level Care for Your Pet
Pet care experience
As a doctor, I’ve spent years caring for people of all ages and I bring that same compassion, patience, and attention to detail to the pets I look after. What sets me apart is my medical background and calm, caring approach to both routine and unexpected situations. I’m comfortable helping with pets who need a bit of extra attention, like seniors, those on medication, or anxious animals, always ensuring they feel safe and cared for. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old, when I started helping my neighbors with their pets while they were away. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments — from playful puppies who need consistency and training, to older dogs who require gentler care and medication on schedule. In the past, I’ve also trained many dogs, focusing on consistency, positive reinforcement, and gentle play to help them learn and have fun. Whether your pet needs structured walks, quiet companionship, or a steady hand during medication time, I’ll treat them like one of my own family members.

Reviews

David was great with my dog. He gave regular updates and sent pictures frequently. I would definitely use him again.
