Cosy home away from home
We have been sitting on Rover since March 2024 and been lucky to have many wonderful new and repeat visitors for short and longer stays, on top of this we had 12 years experience with our cockapoo Emmy, who past away in June 2023 due to illness and since the house has felt empty and in need of a furry friend. We'd love to offer our home to any similar breeds who are looking for a luxury & cosy home away from home. We love cuddles on the sofa and happy to accommodate your needs, whether that be supporting your pup in their fave bed or crate or allowing them prime place at the foot of the bed or sofa and blanket. We have a 5 year old daughter who adores animals and misses her doggie friend, she knows how to respect animals and their space. We can offer a large house, in a quiet cul-de-sac location with garden and plenty of open space and enclosed fields for exercise. We know what its like to leave your furry family member with someone having used Rover on a few occasions so can cater to your request for updates and pictures of how they are getting on

Daisy had a wonderful weekend staying with David and his family. They were incredibly welcoming and kindly allowed us to visit beforehand, which helped us feel completely comfortable leaving her in their care. David looked after Daisy with genuine love and care, and it was lovely to see from the regular photos and videos just how much she was enjoying herself, especially spending time with the other cockapoos. We would have no hesitation in recommending David and would be very happy for Daisy to stay with him again.
Just an excellent first overnight stay for our cockapoo with David’s family. Lily settled quickly and the welcome we received certainly made it feel like a home from home. Received photos during the stay and all communications were prompt. An excellent Rover member. Thank you.
This is Izzys 3rd stay with Kat& David. As soon as she got out of the car she was excited to go in. Kat/David kept us updated with photos and messages. Would highly recommend.

Schedule
We both do and have the flexibility to work from home so if your pup stays with us they will be constantly with someone in the house. There may be small exceptions to this if we need to do the school run but this will be less than 30minutes, we will be home all day to provide regular toilet breaks, walks and play that should match up with the routine you have for your pup

When Emmy was with us we know she much preferred the company of humans rather than others dogs, so can offer a pet free home where your pup will get all the love they want and need while they're away from you
A typical day
There is no typical day as every dog is different but we can offer someone at home all day with your dog, regular toilet breaks, access to our garden and lots of local walks and weekend adventures of your doggie stays with us over a weekend
