I strive for communication as much as possible between animal and human. If they're not feeling like socializing, I don't force anything. Everyone has different needs. My experience in a dog daycare really helped me read and understand dog body language to head off any issues that may arise when you're watching 12 dogs.

Just any triggers for unacceptable behavior, if there are any. I pay very close attention to body language from the tip of their nose to the end of their tale.
A typical day
We'll walk and talk and play. Anything! We live next to an inland ocean and I have yet to meet a dog who doesn't love the beach! I'll throw a ball till my arm falls off! There's no stick too big!

I don't actually call myself that, that's what my friends say I am. I've literally never met a dog I didn't get on famously with. I respect the fact that they are individuals with their own needs. I don't mean to sound too self assured with the title, but I earned it from friends. Whether it's running on the Lake Michigan shore or just finding a nice sunny spot to sit for a while, your pup is going to have a fulfilling day.

I've known David for 20 years and can say without hesitation that he is patient, attentive and genuinely loves animals. Not only have I witnessed him with his own pets over the years, I've entrusted him with my cats while I was away and could not have been happier - and neither could they. Your pet will be lucky to be in David's care.
David is consistently warm and kind to my cat, and sensitive to his needs. He reads animals thoughtfully - their need for space as well as socialization. I leave my animal with him confidently.
