My wife and I are semi-retired so I can be very flexible. We have three whippets so the main consideration is ensuring they have care which we can manage between us

For our dogs we ensure that the garden is secure and safe. Our road is quiet but we always put them on a lead when leaving the house, even if it us just to the car. We have a nervous rescue dog so do consider interaction with other dogs when meeting on walks.

My experience has mostly been with sighthounds. This includes seniors and rescues so I can accommodate both. I would usually visit any new clients ahead of the first sitting.
A typical day
This will depend on the dog. Some require more mental stimulation others physical. I would tailor the activities to suit the pet having spoken to the owners

Current carer for 3 whippets. I have experience of bringing up puppies, caring for seniors, including with health issues and helping rescue dogs. Retired partner of Redhound.

David is a dog owner and lover and has been for several years. He currently has three Whippets. David has cared for my two Whippets on several occasions whilst we have been away on holiday.
