Pet care experience
Over the years I’ve cared for in my own home six cats, two dogs and three birds. I also cared for all the animals on the ranch that I lived on for a bit. Each animal is it’s case and loving soul, I approach caring for each animal differently yet love them all the same as they all have needs to be specifically catered to. I’ve volunteered since I was young at different animal programs and shelters. Many family members and friends have seen my love for animals and in trusted me to care for their animals while they are out of town so they can have a stress free time. as a current pet parent myself I know it can be a bit stressful having to leave your fur baby but having someone who you can trust to take good care and give thoughtful detailed update relieves quite a bit of that stress. I love walking dogs! Its such a great activity for the dog and me (giving them outdoor time while getting some energy out and it beautiful bonding experience). It brings me happiness to play with cats, seeing how happy they are and the funny little things they do while playing.

David always shows up on time and puts up with all sorts of nonsense with my apartment complex (today it was a malfunctioning intercom + elevator). He’s always patient and communicative. The dogs love him (as seen in all the action shots). My pups are always happy with David and that makes me happy.
David is awesome - he’s becoming my go to for long stays and quick stop ins if my schedule is chaos. The doggos love him and I trust him to take care of them on walk and give them lots of love when he comes by.
If you’re struggling to find a pet sitter, let me simplify it for you: hire David. He helped me out when I was trying to book a super last minute trip over a holiday week and my usual people were unavailable. Cue David being open to a same day meet-and-greet. My Great Dane is the tough child and can be male-selective and is 125lbs so much harder to manage than my little guy. Lilith was super chill when she met David, more calm than I’ve seen her before with new people. We did a little walk and then brought David up to meet Teddy, the calmer dog but much harder to impress. Teddy was pretty aloof as usual so I knew he’d be fine. 36 hours later I was on a flight and David was taking over for the week. David had told me he loves sending updates and he was not joking. From night one, I had regular check ins every day with photos and snippets throughout their days. The dogs were clearly happy as could be; cuddling and playing as usual when I am home. He won Lilith over immediately but on the 6th night, David sent a video with Teddy rolling over and demanding belly rubs, a text while I was flying back that Teddy slept on his head, and a photo before I got home of Teddy becoming his “scarf” (lying behind someone’s neck on the couch) shortly after. Teddy is the easier dog to manage but the hardest to win over and one of my last texts to David was “well, you belong to Teddy now” 😂 I knew the dogs were so comfortable and happy while I wasn’t home which is all you can possibly want. David’s regularly check ins, comms if there was an issue (running out of something that was arriving via Amazon but willing to go to petco if needed) and he genuinely just enjoyed my pups. Of course coming home to happy dogs is the best feeling, add in that David took great care to clean up the house before heading out - you really can’t ask for more. Book David - your dogs are going to be well cared for and you will be at ease every day.
Once again David was available and willing to take care of our kitties and look after our homes when something came up for us. Our animals are always well taken care of, and even our shy kitty comes to play with him and say hi. Thanks, David!
