Experienced with big dogs!
What sets me apart is my experience with large dogs and the fact that I've been on both sides of pet ownership. I owned and personally trained two Shepherds, so I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and reading a dog's body language. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, maintaining routines, reinforcing basic training, and making sure each dog feels safe and comfortable. Since then, I’ve regularly cared for friends’ dogs through house-sitting and pet-sitting, treating every dog as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to give every dog plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while giving owners complete peace of mind.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, make sure they get plenty of exercise and playtime, and give them the attention and affection they're used to. I also keep their environment clean, respect the owner's home, and send regular updates with photos so you know your pet is happy and doing well. If I'm caring for a pet in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship while closely following any instructions regarding feeding, medications, or routines. Every dog is different, and I tailor my care to their individual personality and needs.

David is fantastic with dogs! He has both dog walked and dog-sat for me before and my dog, who didn't like a lot of people, absolutely loved and trusted David. He has a great knowledge in training dogs and is extremely reliable. Couldn't recommend higher!
David is a dog whisperer! My dog listens to no one, a Shi Tzu who feels he rules the roost. David in minutes had him walking as if he was always the most obedient of dogs. He is firm and loving and my dog adores him. I cannot praise him high enough!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I intentionally make time for walks, play, feeding, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. I enjoy being active, so daily walks and outdoor time are something I genuinely look forward to. I also understand the importance of keeping pets on their normal schedule, whether that means meal times, medication, crate routines, or simply sticking to their favorite walking route. I believe dogs are happiest when they have consistency, companionship, and plenty of attention, and I make it a priority to provide all three while they're in my care.
