Pet-bonds reflect our heart's light
I am a jungle human. As such, I have enjoyed caring for all sorts of animals throughout my lifetime. From dogs, cats, and chickens, to llamas, monkeys, and sloths, I have found genuine joy and fulfillment in nurturing my relationship with pets. I have been a former chicken and dog owner and have taken care of many dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, goats, hogs, cows, monkeys, koalas, and sloths, both at my home and others' homes and on farms and the forest. I have also found a great balance in my work in academia, taking breaks to take pets on a walk, feed them, and even bathe them.

David and his family took perfect care of Mia. They welcomed her as their own and kept me updated the whole time I was away. I felt very comfortable during my trip knowing she was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend them and will be booking with them again!

Programa
As a doctoral student, I spend most of my time reading, writing, and grading at home. Thus, taking care of animals offers an ideal balance to my daily routine. I am available to look after any pet any day of the week.

I live in a 1,585 sqft home, with ample room for any furred friend. At home, I count on spacious furniture (two large couches) and a large living room carpet. My bedroom is also carpeted, in case your pet requires to sleep close to me. I also have a spacious backyard that connects with the private green trail and forest of our neighborhood. Additionally, our neighborhood trail connects with the San Antonio Greenway Trails System. So, your pet will be able to explore a green, friendly, and safe environment with me.
Un día normal
I enjoy exploring nature through the animals' senses. As a botanist, I let pets lure me toward plant fragrances and spend time observing what they notice through their smell, sound, and touch. I take advantage of the games owners play with their pets, to ensure pets enjoy their time with me. For example, I am currently playing with Chaska, a lovely schnauzer dog I am dog sitting, throwing soap bubbles for her to catch as her owner does. Please bring your pets' favorite toys and treats and let me know their favorite activities for me to do with them.
