Safety, trust & environment

At Forrest's Furry Friends LLC, safety is our highest priority. We are a Missouri state-licensed, family-run in-home boarding facility designed to provide a secure and comfortable environment for every guest. Our property features a fully enclosed 6-foot privacy fence, dual-gated entry and exit points, and separate indoor and outdoor play areas so dogs can enjoy supervised play rain or shine. We carefully assess group compatibility and can provide separate feeding areas, crate accommodations, and individualized routines when needed. For additional peace of mind, we use GPS tracking devices for boarding dogs as an added layer of security. We also administer medications as directed and have experience caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs. Every dog is treated like part of our family, and our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and loving home-away-from-home experience while you're away.

Information David F. would like to know about your pet

To help us provide the safest and most comfortable stay possible, please let us know about your dog's personality, daily routine, and any special needs before booking. We ask that owners disclose any medical conditions, medications, allergies, mobility limitations, seizure history, anxiety, resource guarding, aggression toward people or other animals, or previous bite incidents. Please also let us know if your dog is an escape artist, has a history of jumping fences or slipping collars, or is considered a flight risk. We welcome senior dogs and dogs requiring medications or special accommodations. The more we know about your pup beforehand, the better we can tailor their stay and ensure a safe, positive experience for everyone at Forrest's Furry Friends LLC.

A typical day

A typical day at Forrest's Furry Friends LLC is designed to provide a balance of structure, play, rest, and individualized care. Mornings begin with potty breaks followed by breakfast according to each dog's normal feeding routine. Dogs requiring separate feeding, medication administration, or special accommodations receive individualized care to ensure they are comfortable and safe. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy supervised playtime in our large, fully fenced backyard, enrichment activities, socialization with compatible play groups, and plenty of one-on-one attention. We also incorporate quiet rest periods and naps to help maintain a calm, low-stress environment. In the evenings, pups enjoy another round of outdoor play and potty breaks before dinner and settling in for a cozy night indoors. Whether your dog loves to run and play, lounge on the couch, or simply stay close to people, we tailor their experience to help them feel safe, loved, and right at home. Daily photo and update messages are provided so you can follow along with your pup's stay and enjoy peace of mind while you're away.

Pet care experience

At Forrest's Furry Friends LLC, Jenna and I provide a loving, state-licensed alternative to traditional kennels. As a family-run business, our goal is to give every dog a true home-away-from-home experience where they are treated like family and receive individualized attention. Jenna began boarding dogs in 2018, and together we have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including senior pets and dogs requiring daily medication administration. We are familiar with crate training routines and can accommodate separate feedings for dogs with special dietary or behavioral needs. Safety is our top priority. Our property features a secure 6-foot perimeter fence with dual-gated entry and exit points for added security. We intentionally limit our capacity to 11 dogs overnight at a time so we can provide personalized care, close supervision, and a comfortable home environment. During your pup's stay, you'll receive daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing they're safe, loved, and having fun while you're away.
