Pet care experience
Dog uncle for all the pups!
Hi there! I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself-- I'm David! I have been living in Dallas for four years and dogsitting for three. Quite honestly, I have a lot of fun doing it. I have a corporate job in IT that allows me to work from home full time so I'm always home. What a great opportunity to have furry friends around! My Rover experiences have been very diverse. I have worked with many different dogs, and have met some interesting owners as well. I work best with dogs that are low to medium energy, well behaved, potty trained, and in general, aren't causing destruction when you're not looking! Lol. I also work well with lots of owners. Bonus points for communication, punctuality for pick-up and drop-off! My Rover style tends to be catered to what the pup needs. I'm an active guy and dogs that like going for walks, playing fetch, or throwing a ball are welcome! As are pups that just simply want cuddles and to be pet. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

David was amazing with our dog! He took such a good care of her, was understanding of some difficulties she was going through due to our other dog passing. David communicated with us all the time and sent us pictures and regular updates. Beyond 5 stars!

David’s the best dog sitter, we always have peace of mind that Harry is well taken care of when we travel. Thank you so much!

David was wonderful with Ruby and he communicated very well. He even spoiled her with walks to the Katy Trail. We will be booking with him again in the future.

David was awesome! We had a delayed flight and he was super flexible with us, would recommend!

Schedule
Q How does pet care fit in my daily or weekly routine? A Very easy. I am home most of the time and so it is very easy to take care and provide interaction with pets.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow a routine just like all other pet owners. Morning routine -- pee break and feeding time. Followed by a nice brisk walk around the complex. Play time in between. Walks, more pee breaks, and more play time until a bedtime story in the evening. Then dinner, couch cuddling, pee break, and then finally bed.
A typical day
Dog-walking, fetch, tug o' war (if it's okay with owner). There is a great doggy run in my complex that is great for throwing a ball. There is also a 2 mile bike path not far from where I live and it is great for going on long walks.
