I work from home 5 days a week. I like to travel so haven't committed to having a pet here full time but love the companionship and truly feel that every walk is made better with a dog.

I'm very comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I have a fenced deck for outdoor relaxing, and an un-fenced front lawn for on-leash bathroom trips. I am in a very walkable neighbourhood by a lake, easy for lunchtime strolls and midday breaks. I'm in a split-level home so there's always going to be some stairs coming and going.

Let me know how your dog is on-leash alone as well as with other leashed dogs. Also, please let me know about off-leash comfort levels, and their recall! Are there any particular routes or trails your pup enjoys?
A typical day
I am walking distance to several lakes/trails, and a short drive from Shubie Park off-leash area if you are hoping for off-leash exercise for your pup.

Pet care experience
Growing up we always had dogs and cats - and other pets too! I grew up right alongside our first family dog, a yellow lab named Raggs. We also had Cesky terriers and a vizsla over the years.... and a black cat aptly named Tarzan. My experience ranges from on and off leash walks, to pet sitting, baths, nail trimming - I've done it all!

Our dog Ajax is excited every time we tell him he is going to David's which tells us everything we need to know. Besides that David is very friendly and easy to chat with.
Griffin couldn't be happier when I picked him up, he was fully watered and fed. Very clear David did a wonderful job, I would certainly trust him with Griffin again.
David is dependable, kind, and good with Pets. I have know him for 25 years and saw him take good care of four different of his family dogs. Whenever I am travelling and need someone to look after my dog: David is my first choice.
