During the week, I work part-time from home, and I am active throughout the day. I typically take morning, midday, and evening walks with my dog(s) and allow them to have free roam in the house and yard. I can offer flexibility to meet your pet's needs at my home or in yours.

My home is pet-friendly, accommodating, and safe. I also have a fully fenced yard with patio, grass areas, and gardens. I make sure that food, water, treats, and play things are available at all times for all pets. I also set areas for downtime, relaxation, and naps inside and outside the house, and provide regular interaction and amusement throughout the day.

I like to schedule a meet and greet beforehand. If there are any special needs, please let me know ahead of time. Emergency and Veterinary contacts are to be provided in advance of stay/care. All dogs must be current in vaccinations.

Depending on the dog's ability, I play fetch, tug-o-war, runnies, and love taking walks with the dogs through the neighborhood, forest, and down to the beach.

Having cared for many dogs, cats and farm animals of my own and for others, I offer responsible canine care to pets and owners in Carmel. I have trained and cared for dogs and horses throughout the years. I am easygoing, yet direct in my approach to care and comfort the animals I have and host.

We had a great experience with David. David was very responsive, suggested a pick up, helped Mishka settle right at home and meet his new buddies. Our dog had a great time staying in a beautiful Carmel house! We had a piece of mind to enjoy free time
While visiting Carmel, we needed someone to care for our miniature Australian Shepherd for a day. With no experience leaving Blu with anyone locally, we chose David through Rover. We met David for an introductory visit and he gave us a tour of his excellent facilities, introduced Blu to his own dog and cat, and immediately put us all at ease. When our plans changed at the last minute, he was flexible and accommodating. At drop-off, Blu quickly settled into his surroundings, and the photos David shared showed he was comfortable and had made himself right at home. When we picked him up, he was happy—and pleasantly tired. We highly recommend David.
