Information David A. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog had any special needs and/or behaviors to account for in providing care for them. I want them to be comfortable and happy with my care. Thanks!
A typical day
I enjoy physical activity, mostly walking, with clients’ dogs. I also enjoy throwing a ball or toy for them, and observing the dogs socializing with their canine pals. Of course, there will be many affectionate pets and scratches that will be provided as well.

Loving and responsible dog walker!
Pet care experience
For 10+ years, up until 2018, I had my two English Labrador Retrievers (brother and sister - named Shamus and Sugar) dog family members. A few years prior to Sugar and Shamus, I also had 2 Cocker Spaniels (Willie and Cooper) as a part of my family, and they were all terrific pups. I loved them all dearly. Finally, I grew up on a farm in Western Loudoun County, Virginia for approximately 14 years daily (then during vacations) - with mostly Labradors and Golden Retrievers, as well as an assortment of other animals (including cats, a rabbit, horses, and cattle). However, the one constant in my life throughout my 4+ decades, has been dogs. I adore them - all different breeds, or mixed-breeds, shapes and sizes, and personalities. If it's a canine companion, chances are I'll be head over heels for it within minutes. I also would say that hiking with dog(s), over the course of my life, has probably been my number one favorite hobby of the past two decades or so at least.
Reviews

We’ve been using Rover for over 10 years and have had dozens of walkers, watchers, and sitters. I can say, without a single doubt, that David is by far the best of them all - and possibly the best Rover has on their site! He is ridiculously caring about the wellbeing of our pets and is super communicative about their walks together, his schedule, and overall atmosphere of his interactions with our dogs. His demeanor and personality are a joy and we are forever thankful for him and his time and our dogs adore him immensely. I can’t recommend David enough, and I assure anyone who makes use of his services, he will become your favorite as well!!

David does an amazing job! He is detailed, timely, considerate, and communicative. He has walked our dogs several times and is one of the best we’ve found on Rover. Can’t give more than five stars, but would if we could!
They are so happy when they get to spend time with Dave!
The dogs love Dave so much!! He is the best ever!
