Availability
I’ve recently finished my university degree, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. I train at an international level with the university swim academy, but outside of training I’m free and able to dedicate consistent time to pet care. Including multiple walks (even up to 5-6 for high energy dogs), supervision, and care throughout the day. This allows me to give dogs consistent attention, exercise, and a structured routine during their stay long or short.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment for dogs staying in my pet-friendly flat, which includes a secure, dog-friendly balcony and access to all rooms as all dog friendly. There is a garden area outside for toilet breaks, which is always used under close supervision. I also have access to multiple safe walking areas nearby, suitable for both shorter walks and longer, high-energy exercise depending on the breed. Having grown up with a police dog and a fully trained working cocker spaniel, I understand the importance of routine, boundaries, and attentive care. I follow all owner instructions closely and ensure dogs are not left alone for long periods, helping them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for throughout their stay.

Information David A. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your dog, I like to understand their routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any specific behaviours or training they follow. It’s helpful to know how they are with other dogs, their recall ability, and any triggers or anxieties. I also ask about medical needs, sleeping arrangements, and anything that helps them feel comfortable so I can provide consistent, safe, and personalised care. The more the better as it will make your dog feel more at home.
A typical day
A typical day includes regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I like to keep dogs active with stimulating walks suited to their energy levels, from relaxed strolls to longer, more energetic outings. At home, they’ll have time to relax, feel comfortable, and be part of a calm, structured environment. I also make sure to stick closely to their usual routine to help them settle in easily.

Pet care experience
I have grown up and taken care of dogs since I can remember, including living experience with a police German shepherd, fully trained working cocker spaniel, 2 border collies and an Australian shepherd. This has given me strong experience to give your dog its wanted needs. I’m confident managing different temperaments and ensuring all dogs feel secure, exercised, and well cared for, they will be loved and cared like my own.
Reviews

David was great! Bailey loved it and seemed disappointed to come home! Thanks David, we'll come again!
Couldn’t recommend David more. Our cocker spaniel is full of energy and needs a lot of exercise, and he came back happy, calm, and clearly well looked after. You can tell he really understand active dogs.
