Meet Your Pet Sitters – Dave & Sylvia 🐾 Hi there! I'm Dave, and together with my wife Sylvia, we offer a loving, safe, and fun home-away-from-home for your fur babies. Our story actually began with our shared love for dogs—so when we say we treat every pup like family, we mean it from the heart. I've been boarding dogs for years and have had the joy of caring for pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. After a short break, I'm back and ready to open our home again to your beloved pets! Whether it's a weekend stay or a longer visit, you can trust that your dog will be cared for like one of our own—with lots of love, playtime, cuddles, and updates for you, too. Our home is calm, dog-friendly, and filled with positive energy (and a few extra treats). We know how important it is to have peace of mind when you're away, and that's exactly what we aim to give you—with every tail wag and happy snooze. Let us be your dog's second family. Dave did an amazing job with our female Dobrman Sierra. We went on vacation and so did Sierra! Dave took Sierra out with his family camping while we were away in Mexico for a wedding. He sent me daily photos of Sierra playing and swimming. It was Sierra's ideal boarding and we could tell beacause she came home stress free and tired from all the active play. We have tried tradition boarding facilities and Sierra would come home anxious and uncared for. We will be using Dave for all our dog sitter needs going forward. Thanks, Dave, for loving our pup while we were away!
My dog had a great time with Dave! I was unsure about leaving her on the 4th of July and was nervous about her reaction to the fireworks around town since she is new to me, Dave was so nice to speak with me about my concerns beforehand and reassure me that my dog would be safe and happy with him. He provided pictures and updates throughout her stay and I felt 100% comfortable and confident leaving her with him. You can tell Dave genuinely cares about animals.
Dave and his family were amazing. When I had to change the time for our visit they were wonderfully flexible. Bo had so much fun interacting with their toddler 😍 We will be back!
Dave was great and communicated along with sending pictures. Recommend Dave any time you need care.
My pooch loves going to Dave for doggy day care. There is lots of room for the dogs to run around and play. My dog loves playing with the other dogs and is comfortable with Dave and his occasional helpers. She gets excited when we pull up so I can tell she really loves the environment. Dave also is a great guy and really loves animals. I feel at peace knowing my dog is well taken care of here.

Schedule
My schedule is usually pretty flexible. I work remote from home and if I do need to leave.I have help from my mother and step dad.

A typical day
I do have california recreational park pass. I'm able to take dogs on really fun hikes around folsom lake parks and black miners ravine. Or if dogs are approved for dog parks I can facilitate.
