My name is David. I love taking care of animals! I grew up with a Lhasa Apso named Milo, and currently have a sweet cat named Cordelia, who I’ve had for the last 16 years. Recently, I acquired two new cats - Molly, a long-haired white cat, and Olly, a short hair grey and white cat. I love caring for pets and have experience caring for my friends and family’s dogs and cats while they are away. I also worked at a doggy day care in the past, a wonderful experience that I’ll always treasure. I’ve been active on Rover for about 7 years now, and have had a great experience watching both cats and dogs. I look forward to caring for your furry friends! I live New Haven so I can do drop-ins and pet sitting around this area. I work from home so am available during the week and also on most weekends. I also frequently visit the Hartford and Farmington area on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for other people’s pets however they request; some have fenced in yards while others require walking. Feeding times differ, as do the types of food and the location to feed. Regardless of the specifics, I am prepared to care for your pet as if they are my own.

Dave took care our beautiful cat! Our cat not only had ots of fun with Dave, but he also brushed his teeth and his fur too! Dave also noticed that our cat was lonely and spent extra time with him! Highly recommend Dave!
Dave is my go-to catsitter when I’m out of town (typically twice-a-day drop-in visits). My cat is comfortable with him, and Dave is also conscientious about keeping my apartment how I leave it. As a downtown New Haven resident it has also been convenient at times that Dave is a short walk away if something comes up.
Dave was absolutely wonderful. He frequently sent updates and pictures and left our home in better condition than when we left. Definitely would recommend and will use again.
Dedicated and caring! Our senior, large dog gave Dave so much trouble, but Dave was patient and attentive the entire time. Thank you for being there for us and our boy!

Schedule
I work from home so I am able to check in during the day if needed, and both before and after work. Also available on weekends unless otherwise noted.

- Any specifics that you need me to know, including when and where to walk, when and how much to feed, what kinds of treats are best, what we should work on if the dog is being trained, etc. Just let me know anything and everything prior to caring for your pet. Meetups in advance are the best way to ensure I know everything there is to know.
