We love animals, walking & books!
We've been around dogs and cats all our lives, our own and those of friends: holiday care, taking out for walks, dropping in and simply sharing the sofa. Outdoors, we love walks of any length and terrain and, indoors, much time is spent reading and writing. Having taught in both primary and secondary schools for (too many) decades, we now work part-time and very flexibly. Because this work is mainly done from anywhere with an internet connection/mobile network coverage, we can accommodate caring for your four-legged family members around your needs.

If you just need a wellbeing/feeding drop-in or a dog walk, we will organise a time that works best for you. If you prefer greater supervision of your pet, we will be sitting in your home with a book, notepad or laptop. (We've also been known to do customers' washing-up and ironing too!)

Finlay really enjoyed his time with Dave. Dave kept me up to date with pictures and messages so I knew how he was getting on with Finlay. Finlay enjoyed himself so much he was not at all impressed when I arrived home after my trip!
It was a pleasure having Dave look after our 2 dogs for the day. We had excellent communication beforehand and everything went very smoothly. Dave sent little updates throughout the day, the dogs were very well cared for with plenty of walks and company.
Dave cared for my old dog on many occasions. They really loved each other and Dave was brilliant with him. I will be forever grateful. Thanks Dave!
Dave is a genuine and unconditional animal lover. My cat absolutely adores him. Dogs - big and small, old and young - greet him with a wagging tail. He welcomes guest pets into his home and, as a keen walker, would be more than happy to take your dog out for a walk regardless of weather or distance. Dave is honest, trustworthy and very kind-hearted; I would not hesitate to trust him to look after my pets in my home.
