If your dog is in need of some love and attention—or even just a quiet walk—I would be honoured to care for them. I’ve always been the one to take care of my friends’ and coworkers’ pets. It just makes sense to use my love of animals to help out people in my community who are stuck at work or away for the day. Your pets might be sad that you’re not available, but I guarantee that they’ll be happy and calm when you are reunited. I am trained in pet first aid by St. John Ambulance. Dave has been great with our dogs! They warmed up to him immediately at the meet and greet. We always get great pics and a summary of their time together. He’s great with communication and will always respond quickly. We definitely trust him with our pups.

We had Dave housesit our home and 2 pets overnight and he was awesome. Our dog has medical needs and Dave was very conscientious about making sure his food and medications were given on time as required. Dave sent us a quick text every time he administered meds just so we knew it was done. A quick glance at my phone reassured me that my fur family was well cared for - updates about walks, poops and meds. We also got loads of pics of our pets so we could tell they were relaxed and happy. We are very happy and will definitely use Dave again.

Schedule
My schedule fills up quickly with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and reptiles! But even if my calendar says I’m booked full, send me a message and I’ll try my best to squeeze you in!

When at my home, your dog is never left alone for any amount of time without your permission. They will be closely supervised with mine. I only accept one dog in my home at a time. When at your home, I follow your instructions and keep everything just the way you like it! Have a great day!
Pets
A typical day
My wife and I can care for your dog however you’d like. We have a large, fenced backyard in a quiet old neighbourhood next to the Trans Canada Trail. If your dog has a routine, I can stick to the usual. If they love to just explore, we can take the scenic route! Our little Havanese, Molly and Maggie, would love to meet them and might even be willing to share their toys!
