I have been a dog owner my whole life and I’ve been volunteering at an animal shelter since the beginning of 2024. I have been working with big, medium, and small dogs; and all different types of breeds and mixes. But more importantly, I’m just a full animal lover. All of my pets have moved on, and because of some life changes I can’t own my own, so in comes wanting to help out some pet owners. I’m a very active person, so I’m all about playing or just giving some good exercise, I understand body language very well, so I can gauge the situation to make sure your fuzzy friend is never feeling unsafe or uncomfortable. I have also sat for friend cats on many an occasion, with my chill and calming personality I can get even very skittish kitties to warm up to me. Playing, walking, jogging, feeding, watering, and just being I’m all about.

Daryn is the best. The forecast was calling for a lot of rain on the day she was scheduled to do a drop in visit and walk Dusty. She texted the night before to remind me to leave her some towels and came prepared to walk him in our very muddy yard. I have never had as thoughtful of a caregiver for my dog!

Schedule
My full job is a filmmaker/creator - which gives me a lot of flexibility for being active with your adorable pets. My work is mainly remote and I work from home 60% of the time; I want to help others with their busy schedule when they can’t be home. My availability is in the AM and early afternoon most weekdays.

I’ll ensure your dog gets the exercise and attention they need for a healthy and happy lifestyle while also understanding each dogs unique needs, and tailoring walks and care to their preferences.
A typical day
Depending on the needs of your pet. We can have a casual walk or a nice jog around the neighborhood. Or we can just play in the backyard if that is something that would be more ideal. When they come back inside, I’ll whip them down and/or brush them out, make sure they are fed and have water. And if there are any other small needs they need I can provide so they are comfortable waiting for you to come home
