Decades of pet care experience!
I've been caring for other people's pets for over 35 years! Over the years, I've looked after dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards, goats, and horses — often for multi-night stays while owners were away for work or vacation. When I lived in Colorado, clients loved sharing my name with friends and coworkers, and there were times I had to turn people away just to avoid being double-booked! I'm comfortable giving medications orally (pill or syringe) and by injection, so pets with medical needs are in good hands. I've also been there for some of the harder moments — including, with a client's blessing, taking their beloved dog for euthanasia while they were out of state. And on the sweeter side, I once had the joy of being present at the birthing of a litter of newborn Huskies, and one of those little ones ended up staying with me for 14 wonderful years. 🐾 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️✊🏾

We have a small, fenced yard. We live in a quiet neighborhood where people walk their dogs on leash, so your fur baby will get exercise and stim. We also like to visit off-leash dog parks.

It was my first time using Rover, and I seriously lucked out with booking with Daryl to take care of my baby. If you’re in search of a sitter, I highly recommend. He’s flexible and updates quickly, I felt more at peace having him come by and play with the cat!
Daryl was wonderful !!! We returned to a happy and healthy pup and it was clear that she had a good time. I was very pleased with the level of care and attentiveness. And, she now has a new best friend ! We will be using his services again in the future.
