Loving care & a Golden pal!
Both my husband and I have hands-on experience as pet owners and frequent Rover clients! I’m from Utah and my husband, Ikumi, is from Japan, where I lived for 9 years. We actually brought our Golden Retriever, Arc, overseas with us from Japan, so we are incredibly attuned to keeping dogs safe and comfortable during big life transitions. Between the two of us, we’ve grown up with French Bulldogs, Labs, Poodles, and Australian Shepherds, giving us a great foundation for handling all different sizes and energy levels. Because we use Rover for Arc, we know exactly what pet parents want: excellent communication, lots of photos, and total peace of mind. We decided to become sitters because we simply love dogs and want Arc to have regular playmates. Whether your dog is young and playful or an older dog who just wants to lounge, we will treat your pup exactly like our own!

Safety, trust & environment
When your dog stays with us, their comfort and safety are our top priorities. We maintain a secure, clean, and entirely dog-friendly environment, and we always closely supervise playtime, especially as your pup gets to know our dog, Arc! Our philosophy is to let your dog set the pace and we will match their energy. If they are feeling active, we love bringing out the toys for a fun play session in the home. If they are older, anxious, or just want to relax, we are more than happy to just cuddle and chill. We strictly follow your specific rules and routines regarding feeding, treats, and furniture privileges to ensure a trustworthy, stress-free stay that feels just like their own home.

Daryk and Ikumi are always incredible with Moana. She is super excited to see them, they are great with play time as well as resting. They're also really helpful with trimming appointments, food requirements, and any other care that's needed.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone else except for Daryk. His active lifestyle and adventurous personality was perfect for Zeus! Daryk continuously maintained strong communication which made us feel more comfortable and trusting of him.
Daryk is the only person I trust to take care of my 2 dogs, he is so patient with them and I have never had to worry about their care when he is around! Daryk has a dog of his own named Arc and he is the sweetest boy. They have trained him so well and made sure he is very gentle, which makes me feel confident in our dogs interacting. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a sitter/walker for their doggies!
Daryk truly loves animals, you can tell. He has always gone the extra mile for my pups and showing them love. His personal dog was so well behaved, I was so impressed. Definitely would recommend!

Schedule
Between my hybrid work schedule (three days in the office, two at home) and my husband’s evening part-time schedule working at MLB games, we have pet care completely covered! There is almost always someone at home, meaning your dog will rarely be without human company. For exercise, we stick to a great routine: we usually take Arc out for a dedicated hour-long walk together during the day, supplemented by reliable morning and nightly potty breaks.
