Cat-Dog Uncle Darwin
Hi Rover Community! I'm Darwin! I’ve been caring for pets since 2020, and what started as helping a friend quickly grew into something I truly love. My journey began when my best friend adopted a French Bulldog named Pepe (the first black dog in my profile). I was often asked to look after him, and over time I also became great buddies with Bean (the white dog in my profile), whom I spent four years around while living with their owner. Since then, I’ve continued caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities—from energetic puppies as young as three months old to full-grown companions. More recently, I’ve worked with Onyx (the second black dog in my profile) and I’m currently boarding a Dalmatian. Outside of pet sitting, I volunteer with Motley Mutts Rescue because giving animals love, attention, and safe care is something that genuinely means a lot to me. Darwin was excellent to interact with, very accommodating, and took great care of our four cats! He provided regular updates and was good about tailoring the care to the cats. We appreciated getting to meet him and his place before boarding the cats, and appreciated that he came to see the cats beforehand so they would recognize him.
I was super happy with Darwin and the care he gave my new pup! Definitely will be rook again!
Darwin is really passionate about his doggy day care! I can tell that Zero has had a fun day every time I pick him up or dropped off by how excitable he is. Darwin sends picture updates throughout the day and makes sure Zero gets his steps in. Darwin’s space is nice and cozy, and my favorite photo has been of Zero sleeping on the living room bean bag. Darwin has even offered to do extra drop/off pick ups because his yoga studio is close to my neighborhood lol. I highly recommend Darwin for your doggy day, Zero and us thank you!
Darwin was prompt and is very energetic. He sent pictures and a video from the walk he took my dog on. He is full of ideas to keep pups entertained.
When I was working 2 jobs I was able to rely on Darwin to take care of my dog from when he was a puppy through now! He is so patient and kind and loves going on long walks and adventures with the pups. He’s such a great Dog Uncle! ❤️

Schedule
Currently available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays between 9am-9pm, Tuesdays between 9am-5pm, Fridays 9am-4pm. Weekends available 9am-2pm. I have a flexible schedule and mostly work evening weekends and would love to assist you with your dog's needs. I enjoy physical activity and being active outdoors and look forward to working with you and your dog.

A typical day
I like to start with 20min walks for potty purposes and I would visit a local state park where I can let our furry friend run around with no leash for at lease 30min.
