Darrius was great! He was punctual and very patient with my anxious dog.

I decided to book Darrius for in-home sitting while I was away for the weekend. My usual sitter wasn’t available, but after a positive meet-and-greet where I explained my expectations—primarily that he’d be present in the home with my dogs—I felt comfortable enough to move forward. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t reflect what was agreed upon. Over the course of several days, I observed through my Ring cameras that my dogs were left alone for extended periods, sometimes for hours at a time. There were no updates during those absences, and I only found out by checking the footage myself. Beyond that: • My feeding instructions weren’t followed (wet food and treats were untouched) • I received very few updates and no photos of the dogs outside, despite asking • Trash was left full in the kitchen • My personal drinks were taken without permission The most distressing part was that, due to repeated barking while my dogs were left alone, the sheriff’s department conducted a welfare check at my apartment. This has never happened before and could have easily been avoided had the sitter followed through with the agreed-upon care. Rover ultimately reviewed my concerns and resolved this fairly. I’m writing this review to help others make an informed decision. I wouldn’t recommend Darrius for in-home care based on this experience.
