I’m used to working with and looking after dogs of all sizes with various behavioural issues, alongside those who simply love a cuddle! I can provide toilet breaks, feeding, playtime, as well as companionship during the daytime.

In advance of booking please provide me with details of the following: - Your dog’s daily routines - Your dog’s favourite games, toys, and where you keep them - Your dog’s likes and dislikes (people, other animals, locations) - Emergency contact and vet details - Any health conditions / allergies / medications - Microchip information This allows me to keep your dog safe but I also give them the most beneficial care in the time we have together!
A typical day
I love to take dogs out for walks in a safe environment they can enjoy. Understanding each dog may have different requirements to what they need/enjoy on a walk allows me to select a great location for each time we leave the house. My favourite places include Southwick Beach, Abbots Wood, Devils Dyke, and the seafront Undercliff Walk between Brighton Marina and Saltdean.

Pet care experience
I’ve had 4 rescue dogs of my own over the past few years as well as fostering dogs whilst helping to train and build their confidence before rehoming them for various charities.

Darren was great with our 3 year old Male Vizsla. 2 meets for them to get to know each other, updates frequently enough to reassure us things were fine. Happy to recommend and will certainly use again in future.
Darren was excellent! Very reliable and flexible to meet our needs during our holiday and gave great updates of his daily walks with Riker. We knew Riker was being well looked after and loved seeing the photos and hearing about their adventures! Thank you so much Darren!! 🐻❄️
Darren was brilliant with my wee dog. He replied very quickly and was able to help with less than 24hrs notice to watch my dog. He was accommodating able to pick up/drop off at the hospital to make things easier for me. He sent pictures and video while on the walk and even have a tracker to show the route, distance and time walked. I will definitely recommend Darren and I will use him again. Most importantly, the dog was very happy and comfortable around him.
Darren was great with our pup Dallas. He even went as far as sending us a report card of how his walk went including a map of where they went and even how many toilet breaks. Came home to a happy dog which is always a good sign
