I grew up with a Pekingese and then a Shih Tzu. I've always felt a connection to dogs and feel at ease with (most) breeds. Their energy, curiosity, and un-filtered affection is contagious. My oldest daughter introduced me to cats (she has two) a couple years ago. My wife and I have really enjoyed cat-sitting whenever they are out of town!

My home is not set-up for animals (wood flooring, no fence, etc) so I do not offer any services at my home. I've owned many pets throughout the years and raised two beautiful and loving daughters. For anyone who's had a parent or who is one, you know this is the best training in the world when it comes to putting the welfare of another in front of your own. You will find me to be reliable, responsible, and personable once you give me a chance to care for your pet(s).

Darren is a very organized and task driven individual. That said, he accomplishes his tasks while maintaining a positive and fun attitude. Animals, of all kinds, are drawn to him. Just walking down the street, dogs go straight to him. If he watches his daughters cats he is the pied piper. They follow him everywhere. He has a disposition that they are drawn to. He is someone you can trust and feel safe having around your animals.
Darren is a loving caring husband and father who grew up with pets. He is responsible and an animal lover and takes pride in all of his accomplishment. Darren would be an asset to Rover and will give safe and loving care to the animals and give great service.

Schedule
I am recently retired after 30 years at Ford Motor Company. My time will now be spent doing things that I want to do that are less stressful and keep me active. With no set schedule or commitments, my availability is quite flexible.
