Work from home dog lovers
Hi! We are Darren and Meredith and we both love dogs. We think Rover is a great opportunity for our dog to have some company and to do something we love! We have both had dogs since high school and are comfortable taking care of pups in all sizes. We have a fur baby of our own, Koda, a 9 yr old Labradoodle. Darren jokes that Meredith treats Koda like a human child, so your baby will be well taken care of. 😊 We took a brief hiatus from Rover sitting from April 24-Dec 24 when Koda was diagnosed with cancer on his spine. He has since recovered well and is ready to make some new friends again! Our home is on a quiet street with a large fenced in backyard. We have the flexibility to let the pups out for multiple potty breaks during the day. Koda is looking forward to making new friends and having a buddy to play fetch with!

Barkley loves spending time with Meredith, Darren and Koda! The home is super clean, the backyard is a hit for Barkley to be able to run around with Koda and photos are send daily of Barkley's time there. I feel 100% comfortable with Barkley in their care when we are away.
It was great having Miller stay on a pup-cation with Darren & Meredith while I was traveling! I got regular reports plus pictures with how Miller was doing, which really meant a lot. Miller got along well with their dog and they enjoyed plenty of playtime as well as downtime. I highly recommend them if you are ever in need of a pet sitter in the Columbus area!
Darren & Meredith were absolutely amazing with Pluto. He had an absolute blast with them and their sweet baby Koda. Meredith was so responsive and consistently keeping us updated through pictures and videos. They eased lots of nerves of two very anxious dog parents. We cannot thank them enough ☺️
Darren and Meredith are amazing! They were punctual about our meetings and I felt comfortable leaving our 8 month old Bessie Mae on her first ever visit away from home while my husband had surgery! We stayed in touch over the time she had Bessie and she sent pictures that eased my mind. I can tell she was well taken care of of. I will definitely be comfortable scheduling with them again! I’m very thankful for their support. They made the process so much easier.
Barkley has enjoyed his time with Meredith, Darren and Koda. Communication with them has always been great plus daily pictures! Last time visiting, Barkley had issues with a thunderstorm. Meredith and Darren were quick to ask what they can do to make him feel at ease. They have always treated Barkley as one of their own!
Meredith, Darren & Koda were excellent! Great communication and pictures morning and at night! Barkley even came home with a cute goodie bag!😊We will definitely be using them in the future!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
Darren works in healthcare and Meredith works from home. Meredith takes care of the dog during the day and then Darren takes Koda on a long walk when getting home. We have the flexibility to take walks throughout the day, potty breaks, and snuggles.

Our pup is our child so he is free to roam in the house. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, beds, and are encouraged to run around in the back yard. It’s a great space for the zoomies! 😄

On the weekends, we enjoy taking our fur bubba out and about in the city or on hikes. Breweries, restaurants, or just drives, you name it!
