I’m currently taking online courses, which gives me open availability and the flexibility to meet each client’s needs. Whether it’s early mornings, late evenings, or last-minute requests (prefer notice though), I’m able to adjust my routine so pets always get the time, attention, and care they deserve.

That includes their personality and temperament, health concerns or special needs, daily routines, and any medications they take. I also like to know their feeding schedule, exercise needs, bathroom habits, and what activities they enjoy most. Please share what makes them anxious or uncomfortable, any behaviors to watch out for (like chewing, digging, or pulling on leash), and what commands they know and respond to. I also find it helpful to know house rules—whether they’re allowed on furniture, how they do with other pets or children, and anything they should or shouldn’t eat. The more I know ahead of time, the more I can make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for just like they would at home.
A typical day
I make sure pets stay active, engaged, and loved. I take them on daily walks, talk to them, and play games like fetch or hide-and-seek with toys. For extra fun, I bring them to safe, animal-friendly parks where they can explore with me and see new sights. No matter what we do, I always give them plenty of love, attention, and kindness.

I cannot recommend Darrell enough! I have two large poodle/poodle mixes who are full of energy and can be a handful, but he handles them with patience, confidence, and genuine care every single time. He doesn’t just stop at the basics, he truly goes above and beyond. While staying at my home, he not only keeps my dogs happy and well-exercised, but he also takes care of my two snakes (including feeding and cleaning the tank when I’m away for longer periods), tends to my four aquariums, and even waters my plants. It’s rare to find someone who is not only comfortable but experienced in caring for such a wide range of animals—and he does it all effortlessly. What really sets him apart is the peace of mind he provides. Every time I return home, my dogs are relaxed and happy, my reptiles and fish tanks are in perfect condition, and my house looks cleaner than when I left.
