Friendly dog care
8 years of experience with Rover having moved to Wolvercote, which is a lovely, dog friendly area. There are great walks, meadows, and riverside paths right nearby, and we enjoy being out in all weathers. I have a 9.5-year-old Beagle named Louis. I rescued him eight years ago and we have been together ever since. Having Louis for so long means I have seen him go through every stage of life, from a young, energetic dog to a senior. Because of this, I really understand what dogs need at different ages, whether they need a lot of play and exercise or a slower, gentler pace. I live in a bungalow, which is great for dogs because there are no stairs to climb. This makes it very safe and comfortable, especially for older dogs. A little about me: I am 39 years old and love being outdoors. I enjoy hiking and have done trips like climbing Ben Nevis and trekking in the Amazon. I have a degree in History of Art from UCL and a Master’s in Psychology, and I used to run a cycling tour business. I am also DBS checked and have done some online courses in dog training and dog body language to help me understand how dogs communicate. Whether your dog is shy, energetic, or quiet, I will make sure they feel welcome and get the same care and attention I give to Louis. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions!

Darna was so sweet with our old dog! He loved her and we knew he was well taken care of. She also sent lots of wonderful photos and updates - will definitely book again!
My girl had the best possibly time with Darna. She made friends with the resident dog and enjoyed long walks in the area especially the dips in the river during the summer heat. Darna was very accommodating and I highly recommend her.
Darna was very accomodative in arranging a stay with Felix. He loved playing with Louis and seemed to have had a great time.
