I am retired so home all the time. My son works from home and my adult grandson also lives with us. Someone is always home so your pup will never be left alone. My son Sean and grandson Joey are very involved with the care of our puppy guests. We are all dog lovers and they will get plenty of hugs and affection.

I have two dogs currently. One is a Basset Hound/Scottish Terrier. Benny is 40lbs and 7 years old and very sweet and gets along with other pups famously. He even shares all his toys! Stella Luna is a Old English mix and we have no idea what. LOL. She is 2 years old and is full of energy. She absolutely loves other dogs and everyone is immediately her friend.

PLEASE NO pups that are NOT housebroken or have any aggressive tendencies. Can and willing to give any Medications needed. No breed preferences, they are all precious! I am not available for client in home care or pick up or drop off services. I put in new floors last year. Luxury Vinyl planks. I love them but unfortunately some Senior dogs not so much. They do slip and I have to put rugs down to help them get up. I just wanted to make owner's aware of this in case your pup has an issue with these kind of floors. Thank you.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We live in a very quiet neighborhood and would take walks and let them explore. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever they are comfortable. If they have a favorite blanket or their own bed, we will do what we need to do to accommodate them and make them feel at home. Time I'll spend with your dog Since I, my son Sean and Grandson are home, they will get lots of attention and hugs! Your pup will never be left alone. One of us will be home with them at all times.

Pet care experience
I live in a single family home with nice block fenced in yard. There is plenty of room for your furbaby to run and play and get exercise. Our yard is part grass and part stones. We do not have a pool so there is no danger with them falling in. We live in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of dog owners. Since we are both retired your pup will be with one of us at all times and get lots of hugs and kisses! ***Taking a weekend trip up to the high country, we are conveniently located off I-17 and Happy Valley. Drop off and pick up right on your way**** About this sitter: With a heavy heart I am informing you all that Dave passed away in July 2021. My son Sean, grandson Joey are still helping and loving our puppy guests that visit. After 8 years we have many repeat customers that knew Dave and how much he loved their dogs. As his health failed all our guests brought him so much joy and comfort. Nothing like the affection and love from a dog that brightens the spirit. Thank you all for letting your furbabies into our lives. We love them all. Unfortunately both of our Old English Sheepdogs have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge We did rescue our Benny in December of 2020 and he has been a wonderful addition to our family. In October 2022 I got a match to a pretty little girl that said she was part sheepdog. I went to the Petsmart adoption and met Stella Luna. She was almost a year old and fit into our crazy dog world perfectly. I call her my Miss Congeniality since she loves everyone. She's very pretty. I just wish she likes to be brushed. LOL About my yard Fenced in, 6 ft block. Half the yard is grass and the other is stones. We do not have a pool. Plenty of room to run and play!

After having moved from Denver to Phoenix we had to find someone completely new to care for our dog, 10 years old. . What a relief we found Darlene! She kept us up to date when we were gone and assured us he was doing fine. We couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely be calling her again!

Darlene is an amazing find! She’s so much more than just a pet sitter. I explained Ozzie’s health condition, his strict feeding schedule, and his limited food intake, and she took exceptional care of him. She kept us updated with pictures throughout, which gave us so much peace of mind. We truly couldn’t have asked for better care.
We have had our dog(s) stay with Darlene three times now!! We can tell they are happy to be there and are well cared for!
