I'll care for your dog like family
I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life. Years ago, when I lived in Long Beach, CA, I worked with Tidy Dogs fostering pups until they found their forever homes. I also volunteered at places like Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, spending as much time as I could helping dogs in need. Those experiences showed me just how much joy it brings me to be surrounded by dogs and to make a difference in their lives. The idea to start boarding dogs came years later, after I had a bad experience boarding my own pups in Las Vegas. That inspired me to create a place where dogs could feel safe, cared for, and truly at home while their families are away. My home is clean, dog-friendly, and secure. I use plenty of Sunbrella patio cushions because they’re easy to clean, don’t collect fur, and the dogs love them! I also cook for my two dogs — a Frenchie and a Jack Russell — who love to help welcome and train our four-legged guests. When your dogs stay with me, I want them to feel like they’re on vacation too. Together, we go on fun adventures — bike rides, walks, games of fetch, swimming, and even cozy movie nights. Our dogs had so much fun!! They came back happy and exhausted, they played hard❤️ thank you for the daily pictures and updates, I felt confident that the dogs were in good hands.
Rocky is our pet son. He is a true member of our family. I used to hate picking him up after vacations. He always seemed miserable. He was way too clingy and sometimes was upset with us. But not anymore!!! Now, when we pick him up, he’s wagging his tail, tons of licks, and it’s like he wants to tell us all about his stay! This is only because of Darlene B & team! My goodness! From the moment you walk in, this is a game changer! It’s puppy love through and through! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
JoJo took such amazing care of Blake over the last couple of weeks. She treated him like part of her own family, kept me updated, and truly went above and beyond. She even made the cutest little picture cards and a “report card,” complete with photos of Blake in costumes, which absolutely made my day. Blake was so happy, clearly well loved, and had a great time meeting new friends while he was there. I would 100% recommend JoJo to anyone looking for someone they can genuinely trust to care for their dog like family.
I needed a dog sitter as soon as possible and was running out of time. She accepted my request, and I was very happy. She sent me updates during the day on how my dog was doing. He even got a report card at the end of his visit. I definitely recommend Darlene for your pet-sitting needs.
Thank you for taking such excellent care of Freya while we were on vacation! She is always showered with love and attention and especially enjoys the never-ending games of fetch! Scott and I feel very comfortable leaving Freya with you, knowing she's treated like family. And the special gifts for us are so thoughtful and appreciated! Thanks again and Happy New Year!

Schedule
I'm a early riser so walks in the morning and my spouse does evening walks. My retired mom lives with me and we are a 3 person team. We all care for the dogs.

I have a fenced yard and can crate if needed. I'd rather they be free but if crate train is a request I can do that. Brushes, walks and playtime. Clean house and waters routinely changed. New dishes every time dog is fed.
Pets
A typical day
Walks, bike rides, brushes, swimming, belly rubs, playtime, fetch and movie nights. The dogs love our carriage bike rides on my bikes. Often people stop us to take a picture or pet the dogs.
