Availability
I work full time so I am usually only available to board or day care on the weekends or when I take a break from work. I will update my schedule before hand though and we'll often be available on holidays. I can do dropins a few days a week.

I have a fenced yard and a very friendly dog. She loves other animals. If your pets are aggressive to other animals, then let me know. I will try to accommodate as much as possible by keeping them in a separate room.

Information Darlena C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pets have any special needs while under my care. Does your dog have food allergies or aggressive, then tell me. Does your pet pee when excited? Let me know. If your fur baby needs to be brushed every 30 mins? Send a message. The more prepared I am, the better I can make things for your pet. Please bring these items when you drop your pets so I can make their stay wonderful! Crate (dog), pet carrier (cat) Food, and 1 bowl (enough dry food to last the entire stay, to prevent stomach upset and familiarity) Favorite toy (comfort) Leash & collar (walks) Please keep this in mind when booking with me. If I have to go purchase food because we run out, there will be a $15 charge. If I need to get a specific dog food that's over $15 then it will be the actual cost of the food. During drop off I will confirm how much food for each meal. For your dogs, please bring a traditional crate. You can bring things like carriers, beds, tents, etc in addition to for day time relaxation, however, you must bring an actual crate for them to sleep in at night. The crate needs to allow them to stand up, stretch and completely turn around without touching the sides. I can buy a crate for you, but there will be the charge of the crate plus a convenience fee. These are all things to ensure your baby is safe and well taken care of. If you have concerns or trouble with something, talk to me so that we can adjust plans or work something out.
A typical day
I love doing fun activities and will take your pet out often. We will play games, explore the neighborhood, and may even go to the park! A typical day under my care starts early (time frames are just windows to begin each activity). 4 am - 6 am: Bathroom break. 6 am - 7 am: Breakfast time (food and water) and potty break. 11 am - 1 pm: Lunch time (food water), potty break and group play time to burn off some energy if weather permits. 4 pm - 6 pm: Dinner time (food and water) and group play time followed by quick training if weather permits. 9 pm - 11 pm: Final potty break with a treat (no full meal portions, no water). If your pet's stay falls on a weekend and I only have your baby, there will be a park visit and walks through the neighborhood. If your baby is not the only that I am caring for, there will be lots of group outdoor play if the weather permits.

Pet care experience
I have been taking care of pets for a very long time. Bathing, brushing, soothing, walking, etc. I don't have much professional training experience for other people's pets, but if you tell me what I need to do when I have your pet in my care, then I will make sure it gets done. I will care for your pets as if they were my own.
Cat care experience

Darlena also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

Darlena was very communicative and did a great job looking after my big old girl!

I’ve never had a sitter that I had to bring food, water bottles, and cages. Then have to supply more food at a cost. My usual sitter have everything and I can even request grooming. If at all a favorite toy or blankie is sent.

She could not have been more of a blessing!! This was our first time trusting our pup with anyone. Darlena made us feel so secure about our choice. She went above and beyond to help us out at last minute. Helped train our pup and we could not be happier!! Highly recommended!
