Hi, I’m Darleen! I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Growing up, my family always had pets, so I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. On top of that, I’ve worked in caregiving for people and while doing that, I also helped care for my clients’ pets. That meant feeding, walking, cleaning up messes, giving meds when needed, and just making sure their animals felt safe and loved while their owners were away or nearby just needing extra assistance for their fur babies. So being patient, dependable, and detail-oriented is already second nature to me. I’m great with energetic dogs who need real playtime, shy or anxious pets who need reassurance, and older animals who need a gentler touch. I myself had a Chihuahua since childhood live to be 18 years old. She passed away a couple of years ago, so I know how it is to love and cherish them and watch your baby go through all the stages of life. That being said, I follow routines closely, respect your home, and I’ll always send photo updates so you know how your pet is doing. I truly treat pets like family and see them no other way. I care for pets the same way I care for my own — with patience, attention, and respect for their routines. I currently have three cats and a really sweet husky at home, so I’m used to managing different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also cared for clients’ pets while working in human caregiving, which means I’m comfortable following instructions closely, giving meds if needed, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I can accommodate whatever kenneling or crate needs are required at the location care is taking place, as well as follow any potty routine your dog needs. I always respect your home, keep things tidy, and send photo updates so you know your pet is doing okay.

Darleen takes great care of my fur babies. I have an older lab that she walks and takes care of her when I need her to! She does great with my cat and they both love her! So grateful for sweet people like her to care of our pets when we need the help!!
Darleen is an amazing and compassionate person I would definitely love to have her stay with my animals. She treats all animals as if they were her children and loves them. She will be a great dog walker and anyone will be lucky to have her.

Darleen has watched my two cats for about 2 years now, she treats them as her own giving them silly little voices, brushing, playing and even feeding them. They have grown to love her so much that even when she will call my cats get excited hearing her voice. She puts any stress I have leaving my cats because I know she will treat them with respect. She rocks and is trusted I’ll always trust her with my animals.

Schedule
I’m currently unavailable on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can work with other needs on other days. At the moment pretty flexible just need communication, of course to work something out.
